Yes #5 is certainly odd, but I kinda understands why it roams as the #1 top anime in MAL's database. It is VERY confusing with lots and lots and lots of information you get .. clues and hints, and you get so friggin tired in your head of thinking so hard through the entire film ^^
It was damn good; the art and action and the mystery part (even though maybe too confusing for my taste). I liked it alot - gave it 9...

So Seinen is just the opposite of Shounen, ye? You're pretty obsessed with Aria if I'm not much mistaken?! :p

Well that was pretty much every genre there is ^^ What's Seinen? I've heard it before, but don't know it.
I can watch pretty much every genre too, but my favorites are psychological and romance, and the genre I'd describe as emotional - not one that MAL uses.
