R.I.P

Man I don't want anything to do with the working life, I gotta find that holy grail fast man. It's a shame you couldn't get through little busters but it can't be helped, I'm looking forward to the angel beats VN too, I thought it was good for what it was but it could've been a lot better with more time. Only light novels I've read were fate/apocrypha and some of kyoukai senjou no horizon, I should get back on that.
WoopDiDoo Feb 23, 2016 8:29 PM
Yeah, it's too bad Grimgar is ending with a half season because with something as slow paced as this you'd really need more to build up on so that it could end in a satisfying way, hopefully it doesn't take a turn for the worse like some anime, where they are good at first, but the ending becomes rushed and all goes to sh*t lol I wouldn't know much of what your talking about though since I'm only watching the anime, and not reading the light novels :( I have yet to read any sort of light novel, I heard from a friend however that the light novel for Oregairu is good, so maybe you should check that out~ I rather forget SAO lol I don't understand how it became so popular, there were many flaws with it, the first episode made it look like it was going to be good until you saw the rest just killed everything. xD That's cool, and I rather you not do that either because that's pretty much spoiling again for me and I don't enjoy even the smallest spoilers :P

i-i am a manly gamer though I platinumed bloodborne and its expansion, I'M COOOOOL! You're not even watching erased or Rakugo? C'mon man there's no way grimgar can beat those two. I finished playing the VN Little Busters which was amazing and you should play it sometime if you liked clannad and angel beats, it's better than both. School's going alright other than calculus killing my body, mind and soul. How 'bout you broski
WoopDiDoo Feb 18, 2016 8:17 AM
Well this is a major arc and they previewed basically what was going to go down in the previous episode before the arc started so I already sort of expected that lol but yeah I'm sure it's going to be a really cool arc. I might try to pick it up again, I only finished with the first episode so hopefully I can get into it without thinking much about it since I tend to do that a lot with anime these days. >.>
Yeah, I like that Grimgar takes it's time with pacing the story or else it would have turn out to be more of a mess. The fan service isn't really all that apparent compared to most anime so I don't think that's something I have a qualm with since most of the time, the anime is more on the serious side of survival, but I understand what you mean, that's just what receives the best feedback these days. It's true that Erased always ends each episode with a major cliffhanger, but I need something to watch or I'll get bored. xD
WoopDiDoo Feb 17, 2016 3:12 PM
Yeah... I didn't know the shogun had died since I actually have the anime on hold before the arc started so...
I tried watching Konosuba, but I can't really get into it since it's not really my sort of thing. Grimgar does seem a bit interesting, but I won't make any comments until I see the whole thing. That's cool, I'm continuing on watching it though since I have very little to watch this season.
Things are the same, no different from usual. You?
-Nanaya- Jan 25, 2016 6:24 PM
man the only way to play games is on normal, and maybe MAYBE go up to hard if you get good. yes I'm a baby dont bully bruh. Yeah erased is 2nd place for AOTS this time but you gotta check out Rakugo which really surprised me with the direction. I heard grimgar was pretty bad starting out but I'll take your word for it man, might check it out after the seasons over. Heard dimension w's good but come on THE W AXIS IS JUST THE NEGATIVE X AXIS HOW DID THEY NOT CATCH THIS. also sekko boys AOTY come on
WoopDiDoo Jan 20, 2016 12:58 PM
I actually already tried watching the first episode the other day and I can't say it appealed to me much to be honest, so the only things I'm really watching this season are Erased and Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinju. I also don't know about Grimgar... I'm not all that into the whole concept since it just seems like it's being repeated except with different characters and slight differences to the plot and etc. I'm liking Erased so far too, but I don't think people should hold it highly just yet since only 2 episodes have been released and you can't say anything for sure on how good it is based on just 2 episodes. Although I will have to say so far I'm not disappointed and I am enjoying it. :D Ah. I heard from a friend that is a really good anime so I hope you like it. Lol that anime is basically the exact same thing as another anime that was released in 2014 called Outbreak Company, except it wasn't serious at all. I try as much as possible these days to avoid watching anime that are along the same concept of other anime that have very similar stories because they always turn out to be not as good as you would hope it would be. I do believe they should have featured Arata much more in the anime at times considering he's one of the major playing characters in the anime and a very influential person to Chihaya.
WoopDiDoo Jan 16, 2016 11:02 AM
You don't have to apologize every time you reply late a little late to a comment you know :P I really don't mind lol
I did too, I know that a lot of people however are more of Taichi fans than Arata. xD
Alright, cool. =) I've only watched the first episode of Erased so far, I still need to watch the new latest episode, and it's amazing how it already has it's own live action coming out soon. They've been doing that a lot with anime lately. I can't say I'm really watching anything this season as I've still have yet to catch up with whatever it is I'm watching. If I had to say I liked anything this season to an extent, I think Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinju is pretty unique. I haven't tried out Grimgar yet, but I'm thinking about it~ I might try out Dimension W if you say it's good because I literally have nothing to watch this season that's caught my eye lol
My week was fine, nothing particularly exciting happened as usual xD
I can't say at the moment there is since nowadays I don't read as much manga as I used to, so I'm not all that sure at the moment o.e
-Nanaya- Jan 13, 2016 4:41 PM
Yeah I guess all the garo love's gotta live on in me, I'm just invested in the franchise is all. I'm surprised you disliked one punch man that much, I thought it was a really solid adaptation with great animation, you gotta at least give madhouse credit for living up to the manga's art. I gotta say though I'd easily give up OPM season 2 for kaiji season 3. I actually got pretty bored of the jump scares in dead space to the point where an alien would hop out of the vents and I'd just nonchalantly pop a saw blade at it. never played hardcore though cuz I'm a baby. i gotta say I'd forgive any flaw yahari has if they go the totsuka route, ONLY TRUE ROUTE. I hear what you're saying there, I can appreciate it. You can't find aria? Did you check bakabt? also go for aria the animation, then aria the natural then aria the origination. I do love ojou-samas but c'mon man, miho is my girl. HAVING MORE THAN ONE WAIFU WILL RUIN YOUR LAIFU. I tried to watch haruchika but it didn't really draw me in, erased is easily contender for AOTS though. obviously koukaku no pandora is the best though, YURI ANDROIDS
WoopDiDoo Jan 9, 2016 12:02 PM
Nah, it's cool, I understand people can be busy with their personal lives too :P I liked that show a lot also because one of the main reasons which is Suna, aside from him, the slice of life had a really nice atmosphere~ I know that's what sells the best but still =3= like there are girls and little kids watching too like at least be a bit more considerate for them (including me) there is already plenty of ecchi anime for guys to watch and not to mention hentai xD That's because there are times when I think I won't really like the anime or manga from the look of it and end up completely loving it which is why I hope there are more that can make me feel that way about them :D I haven't watched that anime yet, but a few of my friends love it and say it's really good and to watch it, and yeah that's what kind of turns me away from watching it too because it's that outdated but then again older series are way better than what you see today so you should try it out, and tell me what you think of it once you do and whether it's something to definitely watch.
I'm watching Erased as one of the things I WANT to try out, other anime that I just want to have something more to watch this season and hopefully I'll end up liking are Dagashi Kashi and... Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu. I'm hoping those would be good, I'm not all that sure about watching Haruchika because I feel like it's basically kind of just the same as Hibike Euphonium and Tari Tari.
How about you?
-Nanaya- Jan 8, 2016 3:03 PM
I hear you man it's a shame about ippo I really enjoy the hype super moves and stuff but I don't watch actual sports or anything. I have a weird problem with yahari where the problems they get into and discuss are super realistic but the way they actually just bring it up in conversations and stuff is so unlike what actual students would do it just comes off as the author being preachy but I can usually overlook it. A lot of the stuff in season 2 was pulled off pretty well but I still just prefer the balanced comedy and drama of season 1. I didn't know about how rushed it was though that's pretty awful. As for another anime recommendation since you've been into slice of life I just finished an amazing SOL series called aria the animation and it's now one of my favorites check it out senpai. Soul sacrifice is a hunting rpg, don't know if you've played monster hunter but it's like that but faster and with cooler systems. I recently played through dead space 1 and 2 but I heard 3 was awful so I didn't pick it up during the sale sadly sorry bro. Glad more original anime are being made, getting tired of samey light novels and getting spoiled by people that read the manga first, more creativity is always a plus

worst anime for me for 2015 is garo the crimson moon for being such a huge disappointment compared to the first season but nobody watched garo so I'm kind of alone in this suffering
whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

I can agree about Holo although I don't see much character to C.C. Yeah, for the most part, it was underwhelming although it had its good shows.
WoopDiDoo Jan 6, 2016 3:51 PM
I've always loved Berserk so it's something I'm excited for, but won't get my hopes up for since it's in cg, and like you I'm not that big of a fan of everything looking completely staged in a way that it literally just looks as if it's following a script. Since I haven't watched the original anime tv series that had aired in 1997 I wouldn't know since I had only watched the movies considering a friend of mine wanted me to watch those first. I didn't like that they pretty much just kept ending it at the Eclipse arc which is of course very memorable for all Berserk fans, so hopefully from the looks of the new anime they will continue were the 3rd movie had left off. Yeah, Oregairu is one of the few I was able to enjoy last year, aside from Ore Monogatari which I'm sure you've heard people rave about a lot all last year, but personally I also enjoyed it quite a bit since I particularly find slice of life anime to be enjoyable even though a lot of them don't have any main points and it's just something to sit back and relax while watching. That's what I was pretty much trying to convey to you about Chihayafuru, it does have that romance factor although to a very minor extent, and it doesn't revolve around the theme of "teen romance" like most generic romance/shoujo anime do. I like when an anime takes it's time and makes it seem like the love is becoming gradual between characters rather than apparent from the start. You have to remember that most romance anime and reverse harem are aimed at the female audience because they want to give women that type of self satisfaction they get from imagining these said typical scenarios you see in romance anime that they would just love and want to happen to them. When an animation company adapts things like romance and reverse harem, they are basically just "service" anime, they are never meant to be particularly good in any sort of aspect that makes a good anime. That's why I avoid all of those altogether although I do admit I used to watch those back when I was in middle school. xD
It's really the unrealistic scenarios that happen in anime and manga that get to people these days though because they want to believe fantastic situations like that could actually happen lol That's why you only see a small handful of enjoyable romance anime because there are some that at least try to be a bit more realistic in terms of romance, although the drama in them are quite excessive.
My favorite show from 2015 is what I mentioned before Ore Monogatari, I mean I know it seems cheesy and some things are repetitive to people, but I personally enjoyed it, it's not like it was repetitive in similar situations throughout the anime, just 2 or 3 simple words or phrases they had tend to say every episode, and in a way that sort of what makes the anime if that makes sense. (it's a contributing factor)
Plus, I enjoy and watch a lot of slice of life, and Ore Monogatari was more based on that aside from the cheesy lovey dovey romance.
I mean it might have been an unrealistic romance anime like many others, but it was the type of romance story that was kind of "aiming" for that, it wasn't meant to be realistic in the first place, just something "cute" that people could enjoy, I hope you understand what I'm trying to get at because I'm terrible at explaining things. lol
I don't know what was the worst show to be honest, because as much as possible I wanted to avoid watching anything terrible. xD
WoopDiDoo Jan 6, 2016 2:41 PM
I've watched Beck a few years back, she does look a bit similar to her in a way, but I think my friend had another character in mind. xD
It's the same here, people aren't really open about their like of anime where I live so you can't really tell who does like anime and whatnot aside from the people who openly display themselves (like they have an anime club at my community college, but it doesn't look like something I'd want to join to be honest lol) I'm not into anime as much as I used to be nowadays so I haven't found anything in particular that has caught me eye xD Although hopefully there are a few things that I'll be interested in to watch in this upcoming Winter Lineup. Same exact thing happened with me when I first watched Hanasaku Iroha, the first episode didn't appeal that much to me and I always decided to put it off awhile back, but once I gave it a real chance, it's now one of my most favorites. xD
A lot of my friends have enjoyed Chihayafuru so hopefully you'll like it too since it's not really as much of a romance as it appears to be, more about the sport of karuta (Japanese card game). The only mainstream anime I really enjoy are One Piece and Gintama, aside from that no others have appealed to me as much as they have. You can say I like being able to find anime that I usually wouldn't watch, but end up loving in the end. xD

I try as much as possible to give a series a good long running chance before I decide anything about it.
Btw seeing how you enjoy Berserk, did you hear about the new anime adaptation their doing for it this year? :)
