i’m a sucker for:
- shonen anime
- sakuga animation
- cool art styles/experimental animation
- immersive worldbuilding
- well-written female characters
- edgy intelligent cold tsunderes (　ﾟдﾟ)
- admittedly, BL undertones (￣▽￣;)

when rating i think about enjoyability, ~vibes~, impact, and art/animation. shows are good in different ways, so sometimes i'll rate a show highly for doing one of these things really well even if it falls off in other aspects.

i drop a lot of anime! i only finish stuff when i feel like it's a good investment of time.

Notes on rating:
8+ means I loved it and you should totally watch it!
9s I would all consider my favorites ^^
10s have that "something more" that distinguish them from 9s. Maybe it's a deeper message, worldbuilding so good that it feels real, more personal enjoyment, or that feeling you get when you know you're watching an incredible story. Either way, 10s blew my mind one way or another! and i'm probably busy obsessing over these :')
