Its been awhile but the Gangsta manga is in hiatus but its making a return.

I heard that Horimiya has a lot of fillers. I really want a plot based one instead of the casual slow romance/SoL style.
I started on Otoyomegatari. The art is really good but I feel its not my type of manga.

Japanese food is AMAZING. Their standard for food is so much better compared to the States. One of the places I went was a ramen place that recently got their michelin star this year. I got a new job a few months ago and been treating me very well. My commute dropped from 2 hours to 15-20 mins one way + 50% more pay and better benefits. I went to Japan 3 weeks ago for 2 weeks. The food just completely amazing there (foodcation mostly), the culture was interesting. The architecture was so different and their transportation system is something to envy for.

Yeah, it's an awesome studio XD I'm so looking forward to this dancing anime!! I already got my eyes on it when I bumped into the manga but I was already reading a lot of stuff so I didn't start (same thing happened with Shokugeki no Souma, I first found the manga, didn't have time to read and a little later the anime comes out and I freaking love it). But if I find it nice I might do it after watching the anime~ I think it's going to be pretty cool *3*

I love cold weather but of course it has some bad points like dealing with water to wash your hands, take a bath etc xD it's awful to do this in winter even if you have hot water. The cold air that comes afterwards is terrible lol but I love the clothes and the feeling of wrapping myself up in the sheets to watch some animes or play a game on tv. It's lovely ♥

Omg, the Japanese do this thing of eating words a lot too and it drives me crazy XD even though I find it cute when they say "oha~" instead of ohayou, sometimes I take ages to figure out the word they shortened when I'm translating e-e'' but we can learn those by seeing more and more cases, I think this shouldn't be such a big deal! People can be pretty picky.

Omg, yeah! I definitely would be tricked by that too XD That's the problem of reading manga, unless they give you a picture of all the official colors of the characters beforehand, you'll never know for sure lol but the rest is awesome, most of the animes aren't so pretty as the manga... although I think this is changing recently. We've been having more faithful adaptations now for some reason. And more animations that "fix" the original author's style, like SnK and Haikyuu.

Yeah, I heard it's a classic, it's definitely popular too. It's just not my type of movie I guess xD Well, we are a REALLY BIG COUNTRY!! So of course there would be lots of differences from region to region. We all speak the same language but lots of words are different and the way we pronounce it is too. Like the "r" sound. Just here in the southern region you can hear three ways to pronounce it. The countryside say it as the americans, as in "we are". Most people say it like japanese yankees, like "konoyarrro". In Rio they say it like h, as in "home". They're details, but if you put these and lots of different words mispronounced together, it can sound like a completely different language.

Yeah, I thought so too! I mean, I'm always getting really surprised by the characters' true hair colors in mangas, you can never say for sure. Even if the hair is painted black, when the cover comes out you can see it's actually kinda purple or blueish, and if it's not painted you can only guess if they're blonde of have white hair lmao it's hard to say until we have official colors! I had a huge shock in katekyo hitman reborn when I saw a character with long, non-painted hair (here's a pic http://i.imgur.com/NlOuRWE.jpg) and I was like, she must be blond for sure, I mean, they're all ITALIAN?? Well, you must remember this was GREEN HAIR and it's a MAN. I've been shocked for ages lmao

I've never seen it before but I've watched Tropa de Elite that's more bloody and about the policing in the slums so you can guess what happens there e-e I don't really recommend, I just watched because the movie was very famous for a while and everyone in my class wanted to see, so I had no choice but I don't usually watch national movies. You can find it weird but I rarely understand what they're saying depending on where it was filmed lmao

Togashi is an amazing mangaka, but I could feel him getting lazier as he got closer to the end of yuyu hakusho manga. That's why this whole hunter x hunter drama doesn't surprise me, since he barely finished yuyu lol I didn't take my time to read hxh either. I either read titles that go as scheduled until the end or find out those that started 10 years ago but the author never finished (and probably won't) lmao not sure if this can be counted as 'lucky'...

LMAO IT'S THE CURSE OF THOSE LIVING IN THE SEASIDE-- I'm living up in the mountains rn, in a thermal countryside city. The temperature is around 24~25º in here, but during winter it can hit 10 or less. I hate carnaval, it's too loud and stupid and those naked ladies with huge bodies creeps me out XD but some people enjoy it, it's just not my type at all. Rio is also very hot and can hit 40º+ easily so there wouldn't be much of a difference to him, I guess o-o Rio is the hottest city in here but the violence is too much... I've never been there, tho.
