Hey, I know it's been over two years, but I saw your post on the Tokumu Houkoukan Yumihari page. I also loved Milk Closet and Alien Nine. In case you haven't learned anything about the series since you wrote that, I'll share what I know about it. The series was published in Gentosha's online manga magazine Genzo. For a little while, they actually released a version of Genzo in English that you can buy online. I wrote a blog entry about it a while back and my sadness over how it went on indefinite hiatus. Unfortunately, since the time I wrote that, the English version of Genzo disappeared all together. Before they stopped, they released 17 volumes of Genzo, all of which each have a single chapter of Yumihari, which is about half the series. I bought all of the volumes and made screenshot backups, so if you like I might be able to send them to you.
Other than that, I haven't been able to find a single piece of the series in English. I was actually just able to find these raw Japanese scans, but I don't know how helpful that would be for you. If you had the cash, you might be able to commission a scanlation group to translate it for you. I've considered looking into that, but I really don't have the money for that right now. Maybe someday I'll get fluent enough in the language to read and translate the series myself, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
The series itself seemed good for what I'd read of it (I actually only read the first 5 volumes of Genzo before I get sidetracked by other things), but it did seem very different from Alien Nine and Milk Closet. I mean, the weirdness was still there with the crazy creatures and such, but it just felt different. There were a lot more men and adults in the series, that's for sure. The page for the series has a decent enough synopsis beyond that.
But yeah, like I said I can probably try to send you the first 17 chapters I have of the series somehow if you're interested, or at least the first chapter so you can get at least a feel for it and see if you're interested.
