Hey, I'm Scientist1968. I remember watching the Pokémon and Dragon Ball Z Kai dubs on TV when I was around 6-10 years old (2009-2013). Something grasped me about their story and art style that was different at the time to other cartoons, unaware of them being anime. That was that for the time being.

About 2 years later, my friend recommended that I should watch Attack on Titan's first season, and so I did, and I loved it. The over-arching story, character development, animation. I knew that I had seen it before somewhere, but I just couldn't remember where.

2 years after that, my same friend also recommended Bleach, and after remembering how much I loved Attack on Titan, I thought I'll give it a try, and well, I fell in love with this entertainment medium beyond what I'd ever have thought possible. The jaw-dropping and inventive storylines of the different series; the passionate, hair-raisingly good voice acting; the beautiful, flowing animation; and also the soul-ignigting OSTs.

Bleach opened my eyes to plentiful new worlds, and now, I am who I am. I've loved every single moment: watching hundreds of characters become stronger, make new friends, lose friends, save the world, and give birth to new generations of heroes. From there on, I started reading manga too, always wanting to see what happens next in the stories that I love before they come to life on the screen.

I'm currently studying German and Japanese at University and love learning new languages. I'm always happy to talk about any animanga series I've seen, and hey, feel free to suggest me stuff too. I'm always looking for more shows. I'm a big fan of not only Shounen action series, but also Slice of Life and Romance series too.
