Actually, I've only heard good things about K-ON!! kinda sorta. There are jokes about it, but I figure that's a given with almost any new anime anymore. But it was around at Otakon between cosplayers and the announcement that Bandai licensed it and they announced two voice actors for the dub. I haven't actively been researching it because I kind of want to watch it and avoid spoilers. XDDD

I know, it's kind of crazy to think what kind of form anime will take ten, twenty years from now... X_x;

My manga collection... is fairly large. It has to be over 200 manga, but it's been a while since I actually sat there and counted. When I redesigned my room I had four large tubs of anime DVDs and manga, about two of each. It was REALLY HEAVY. I should post pictures of my collection since it's all up on my shelf for the most part. But I own most of the series I read.

Yeah, Hetalia's based off of a webcomic that they turned into a manga. It was originally an internet thing. And then it became an anime. Crazy stuff.

I'M TIRED OF COOL STORES BECOMING CLOTHING STORES. T_T I'VE LOST SO MANY AWESOME STORES BECAUSE OF THAT. The closest mall to us is ALWAYS taking down the coolest stores in favor of clothing things. Victoria's Secret can be nice at times. >>;; (I'm bitter, okay?! XD)

Thanks~ The computer had Adobe Photoshop Elements and I just needed Photoshop. But since then I found the computer lab where they DO have Photoshop and I don't even have to go to the library to use it! :3!!

It's difficult, but it's fun. Luckily now it's making more since and I can do a good portion of my own. I finished my ring!! It looks really pretty and shiny and I plan to post pictures when I get it graded and handed back. Metalsmithing is hard, I have such an appreciation for folks that have regular practice with it now. X_x;

I'm actually a double major, English and art (writing and illustration if you want to get more technical). Right now I have more art classes to complete than English ones so this semester has become all art-related.

OMGGGG, Panty and Stocking is growing on me. I really didn't expect to like it, but somehow, I do. The music especially. It's an orgasmic ray of sunshine! XD But yes, I agree with what you said - and I thought of Re: Cutey Honey because of all the crazy hyperactive-like animation and how pretty and bright it was. I really want to see Dead Leaves. I don't know if I've added it to my list yet but I am gonna make sure that I do.

I think the class I'm seriously struggling with now though is my art history class. IT'S SO HARD. T_T

I'm good, thank you! Haha, it's good to hear from you! I was just kind of concerned since you posted that a while back and I was like, "Ohnoes, did you forget or is something wrong?!" But I'm sorry you've been having some rough times and I'm happy that it's getting a at least a little easier.

But yes, my little brother was able to meet with Jerry since he took our photo, but he didn't really have anything to ask him and kept mocking me over getting all excited that I was gonna meet him in person! What a little brat! But things were awesome. I did see some people post - not just here, but in a lot of anime-related forums and such, that they were looking for people to fill the slot that someone had bailed out on, so that did cross my mind, but I still think it was cheaper to just drive everyday.

I totally want to get my kids into anime, though! I kind of have a weird love-hate admiration for people who do that. Is your kid really into anime, or is it just a family outing despite how everyone feels? I think that's really important. I have a friend who has kids that she's trying to get into anime, too. ^^;;

Waaaah, I can't believe NYAF is already upon us! It's a shame you can't go, either, what a bummer! I was considering in my funds if it was possible for me to go and it totally isn't. I'll deal, but it's still kind of depressing. My mom and I are still gonna do something fun on that day though. We're gonna go out to a craft show. :3

But I know what you mean when you say you're not in the anime mood as much. I haven't really been either, so I've just gotten a TON of manga from the library and read some when I can. So many different series, many of them new to me! It's nice to read something different. I ordered the first season of Higurashi, the first season of Hetalia, and the first season of Haruhi for my birthday, though. I'm really, really excited about that, despite the fact it's stuff I've already seen! I just marathoned a whole lot this summer, especially before Otakon, so I've kind of strayed away in the meantime.

My little brother though is starting to get seriously dedicated to starting a manga collection - we actually had a small fight over who would collect Hetalia! I don't think it's necessary to have two of the same manga in the household when I can just go into his room and get it, but he just has a small collection and my collection is HUGE <3 so I didn't know if he was just collecting series that were his faves or if he was seriously collecting. Eh, I'd rather have the Hetalia anime anyway. :P

Ooooh, thank you for teh musics~ I will have to download them later, as I am at a school computer trying to get homework done. They don't have the program I *neeeeeed* and I'm already behind and the assignment is due next week, but my professor wanted us to get as much as possible done so she could give us as much feedback as possible before grading. I'm sure I'll be fine, I just really wanted to show that despite the fact I was absent last class, I am hardworking outside of it as well!!

My classes are going to keep me sooooo busy this semester, though. I'm taking this metals and jewelry class which feels more like a shop class but winds up with shiny metal-y results. Like, we're making a ring and it's the hardest thing ever at this point. But I'll get it done, I promise!!

But good luck with your stuff too! And I'll have to check out Pixiv and Umineko... :3
