Hello! My name is Sapphire, and I'm anime and video game trash.
also if you're wondering, my Pokemon Go team is team instinct. *dabs into the sunset*
When I was little, I remember watching Naruto at night whenever it was on. After a while, I guess I stopped watching Naruto and forgot about it for years.
However, just a little over four and a half years ago, (I was in 5th grade at the time. Yes, that's very young, I know.) I watched Gurren Lagann with my brother and his girlfriend, and I remember how much I loved it.
A year later, my best friend told me about Soul Eater and Black Butler. I watched both and fell in love with anime. I craved more. So I watched more and more and more. And here I am now.
My favourite anime (and why)
Out of all the anime I have seen, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood has got to be my all-time favourite.
FMA Brotherhood has everything that I would like to see in an anime, or in any form of series for that matter. An awesome and unique story, well thought-out characters, stunning art and animation, and a variety of amazing music. I can't really put into words how much I love this series, and in my opinion, just saying "it's my favourite anime!" doesn't do the series justice.
Probably my favourite aspects of the anime are its characters, animation quality, and story.
I'm always a sucker for anime with well-written characters, and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is no exception. My favourite character from the series is Edward Elric. He's got such a unique personality, and not the typical "I'm gonna save the world/my country!!1!!11!" personality I've seen in quite a few popular shounen anime. To be honest, I love everything about his character in the series.
Even though I do think the 2003 anime's animation is pretty good, the animation quality for Brotherhood blew it out of the water. There's a lot of detailing on the animation, and even the more comedic scenes in the anime got a better animation quality.
The story of FMA Brotherhood is truly a masterpiece in its own way. It's unique and was executed in such a great way. However, my favourite thing about the story was while seeing all these different external (such as Ed and Al trying to get their bodies back) and internal (such as Ed taking all the blame for when they performed human transmutation and longing to know if his brother hates him for it, and Al questioning whether his memories are real or just fake and if he's actually a real human after his encounter with Barry the Chopper) conflicts, you got to see some characters grow physically and mentally throughout the series. That, in my opinion, is just magnificent.
But all in all, that's pretty much a brief explanation as to why Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is my favourite anime of all time.

Yeah. I should probably remodel my profile too, because it looks pretty bland. But, I just haven't had the motivation to, and I just got on again today xD
That's great! I'm glad to hear that! ^-^ FMA Brotherhood is a masterpiece and still one of my favorites. I can't believe I haven't been on this site for a year lol. Thanks to seeing this in my email notifications, I decided to get on here again! Welp, time to update my list xD
