Sadly you are right. It would've been such an amazing concept to have a childhood friend win from the get go, but they decided to make it a boring, trashy harem bait. Such a good waste of great voice actors as well, what a shame.

You're absolutely braindead, dude. I've never seen someone fail to read, and misunderstand even the most basic of things this badly in years. Eren was fighting the damn invaders from Marley who were going to mass murder everyone in Shiganshina, and later all of Paradis, had they eaten him. Zeke was literally aiding him.
Or what? you gonna tell me the walls crumbling down and killing some civilians was done on purpose by that "one-dimensional villain Eren" you made up in your mind. It's calling collateral damage, and it tends to happen when you're in the middle of a fucking war.

Yup, just read your review and I wholeheartedly agree with it. First part of Great Pretender is a balls to the walls awesome, and the second part completely messed everything up. Glad to see that some other people have the same opinion of this show!
