Hello there!!
If you're reading this, thanks in advance! :)
I used to watch anime when I was a kid and after I came to high school there was a long break following that. I've been watching Asian dramas for a while now and because I got *kind of* bored of them, I have returned to the land of anime!! Not only that, I have started reading manga as well. For as long as I have been alive until recently, I had never read manga in my life **soo weird!! I know**.
I have a good long list of manga and anime that I want to read AND watch in my head. I'm too lazy to add them all on here *lol*. Anyway, the point is that I will continue reading and watching in the future and I hope my list grows bigger and bigger. I think my list is so small!
I hope I can find friends on this website too. :)

Oh, I still can't believe MAL's finally back!! These past few days have been so stressful...everytime I'd turn on my laptop I'd try to browse MAL, and always achieved nothing... thank God they solved everything!
Let's see... I suppose I like almost everything that has good characters. Much like yourself, I also pay a lot of attention to the characters, more than anything. The plot might be okay, but if the characters never develop, I won't be able to like it. I like psychological anime, where you have to think to figure out what's happening. And action-packed anime, with intense fights, mystery, even horror and bloodshed is fine... Some other times I feel like watching a romantic one, hehe, like Maid-sama (my favorite shoujo anime!). Those that have a little bit of everything and even great characters, like Fate Zero, FMA, Code Geass... are perfect because of that :)
hum, are you sure about Clannad?? As far as I know, most people do like After Story, but aren't always satisfied with Clannad. You see, After Story is sadder, more dramatic, so people might say they cried, that it had too many touching moments...but in a good way, I think. It's much more intense. I don't really like the characters, they're too moe for me, so that's why I couldn't like the first one, because even the plot seemed rather slow and it wasn't my thing... It's about a guy who helps other 5 girls to sort out their problems. It's realistic, sometimes, though it has a touch of fantasy too. I like romances but not harems that much, I guess...
Ah I don't know how to explain it. Just that After Story has a better plot, is more touching and therefore, more likable for me, even if I didn't like the characters that much in the first season.
