Yess. I'm watching Yofukashi no Uta (Call of the Night), and I liked the OP and ED!. And the anime is good ≧◉◡◉≦; it has a Bakemonogatari type of style.

Others I like from this season are Lycoris Recoil and Isekai Ojisan. Of the ones I'm watching, those three are recommended (っ◠‿◠)っ

Absolutely! It's one of the best anime I've seen so far. The general structure of the story is kinda similar to the FMAB and the first 3 seasons of AoT, where the plot goes in a circle with great foreshadowing. The greatest thing about it is the antagonist, who is one of the best ones I've come across in this medium. Still, there are some things that can be underwhelming for some viewers. Since it's a mystery anime, getting through the early episodes can be a little hard as tons of information is shoved into you. The animation quality is also a bit low and it also contains some LGBTQ themes. If you're okay with these, it will definitely be worth your time.

Sorry for the very very late reply, but yes I do agree that Totosukuni no Shoujo is overlooked in a near ludicrous scale given how much of a stark contrast it has in both art stylr and story, but who know with the way the anime comunity hop from title to title these days perhaps they stumble upon this one someday.

Now adressing on whether or not I've seen the OVA I'm afarid I haven't found myself the time to try and find a version of it with a decent size/quality ratio on index sites, but given that I have now a lot of free time in my hands perhaps that changes in the following weeks, although I also heard that it got the hollywood treatment and tried to cram as many chunks of the story as it could (tbh i felt that a miniseries or even a fully sized anime would've been more suitable), but then again this franchise isn't exactly a money-prinitng one so that more so explains why was a DtV movie was the most financially convenient way for the studio to animate it given its scope.

And finaly I'll have a look at your review and see if I can help you improve in some way or another

PPS: I can't shake the feeling that a prog folk group like Current 93 would fit like a glove for the OVA's OST or even just an AMV (which I still do not have the skills to produce one of decent quality), also, I always imagined Kevin Conroy as the Teacher's voice when I was reading the manga, it really suits his character

Tbh shows I rate low but finish are ones I probably enjoyed... They just lack plot stuff ahah

I had watched Doraemon, pokemon Beyblade and others when I was a kid on tv but dxd was the first anime I watched knowing it was an anime and yes it made me fall in love with anime lmao

I read the manga simultaneously with the new season so I'm gonna finish it in the next couple of days. There's just few chapters left and rather then waiting another year, I plan on reading those.
