I love manga and anime, plain and simple. I just got into yaoi and I love it. I've decided that I like many different kinds of yaoi but espcially salarymen and guys in school. I'm partial to BDSM yaoi, too but that's another proclivity in and of itself! My tastes in mainstream manga are quite eclectic. They range from Absolute Boyfriend (I'm ashamed to say...) to Prince of Tennis to Kiseiju. I don't usually like shojo manga but some titles are just so good that the cutesy-wootsy feeling doesn't really bother me. I think my new hobby is collecting manga so if you have any recommendations, I'm all ears! Oh!!! I'm also looking for new anime to watch!

Perhaps you'd like to try Koukou Debut? It's got all the good elements of shoujo manga and isn't too dramatic, so perhaps you'd like it ^^
Also, if you're into slightly more serious/realistic stuff, then you should try Kare First Love.
