No worries about the late reply, I've been pretty busy myself. I'll be graduating college soon, this next weekend actually the 18th so I'm pretty excited.
As for watching I've been a bit behind since I've been busy with school. But I'm up to date with My Hero Academia, and AoT (of course) haha
My favorite shows from this year are Kobayashi's Maid Dragon and Konosuba haha. What have you been up to?

i love gintama so far it one my favorite Shounen beside one piece that every watch i highly recommend watching gintama and i going re take Japanese classes since it been long time since i take Japanese classes since high school.

it very nice to meet you ani and the anime watching are gintama Date A Live II, Yuu☆Yuu Hakusho, and Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S and do speak any Japanese?

I'm glad you agree with me! I mean I feel the same way I have much to learn as well. It's just a part of life really, when I first watched anime all I cared about was the flashy art styles and action I never paid attention to stories haha. If you feel like rewatching certain scenes in Shigatsu theres always Youtube but you could honestly do that later when you feel like it.

Oh the reason why I made that comment about A-1 is there's a lot of works where they have poor budget certain episodes, and they make use of CGI to save money. Like the Phoenix Wright anime that's airing right now, they had the entire background courtroom with people in CGI models. Seven deadly sins also had some episodes where they had obvious budget issues. Shigatsu on the other hand i feel was really well drawn pretty much every episode

I'm caught up in Re:Zero btw, and yeah it's about 100x better than SAO. Surprisingly it took a completely different direction than I initially thought it would. Like you said, I figured there would be a harem and everything with a light hearted story but nope. It gave me more of a mystery/thriller vibes, which is what initially motivated me to keep watching. TI like the thriller parts, although I'm not entirely sure how I feel about his ability "Return by Death". Because he literally can't lose with that power since he can keep trying no matter how many times he dies. However, it seems the more it happens the more it messes with his psyche, as well as the group forgetting about him. Which ends up hurting him even more. You mentioned there's also manga for this?

I mostly play fighting games and RPGs haha. My favorite game ever is actually Persona 4 which even got an anime adaptation, I haven't watched it yet though. Sadly I'm still a newbie with visual novels I've only played a few.

Oh well for the most part the idea that we see Punpun and his family to be drawn like that was because in Punpun's point of view thats the way he felt about himself, and the way he viewed his family. The reason why his appearance changes as time goes on is because he slowly starts to change the way he viewed and felt about himself. Now as for why the author chose birds? Well the author Inio said it himself in an interview that he wanted people to be drawn towards Punpun's cute outer appearance and try out the manga. Essentially baiting people with Punpun's look haha.
It was interesting how Punpun's whole life he was suffering and wanted to be forgetten, but because Sachi was turning his lifestory into a manga he would remain forever remembered or "immortalized". A friend of mine pointed that out to me and I found that to be quite interesting.

Oh yeah exams are rough but it's mostly me trying to get everything together. Growing up is hard haha
I'm enjoying both spring itself and the anime airing in spring lol! It cheers me up at least
