I've just been drowning in Breath of the Wild since it came out Friday. The game is amazing. I have some complaints, but they're largely inconsequential when the game is so well crafted and does exactly what it set out to do. I've finished off Divine Beast Vah Ruta, grabbed the Master Sword, and collected all but 2 of the Memories from Zelda's pictures. There's so much to do and see.

I'm doing okay. Progress is being made with the situation at work, but it's crunch time and both sides are pulling pretty hard with important projects.

I finally started Moon a couple of weeks ago (chose Litten in the end), but I'm only 2 hours in. I also finally migrated all of my Pokemon from SoulSilver, Black, and Black 2 to Omega Ruby with Pokemon Bank. So now I really want to replay all of those old games too. It's kind of weird having my original RSE teams in OR. Then there's AC Syndicate on the PS4 (loving the Frye twins as dual protagonists) and still support grinding in Fates before I buy the DLC packs. And Twilight Princess since I want to have Cave of Shadows wolf amiibo data to use with Breath of the Wild. Not enough time in the day for all the games.

Twilight Princess is a ton of fun. If you already have it then I do highly recommend playing it. It's design is similar to Ocarina of Time, and it even improves on some concepts that Nintendo wanted in OoT, such as horseback combat. Midna alone makes it worth it, she's by far the best companion character thus far in the franchise.

There aren't any exclusives for Switch yet (AFAIK), just that that's what usually prompts me to finally buy a new system of any kind. Yeah, Fates is sold in two physical copies (used to be 3 with the LE, but that sold out the day pre-orders opened), Conquest and Birthright are sold separately, like Pokemon. You can then download the other games (either Birthright/Conquest depending on the cartridge you bought, and Revelation) through the in-game eShop for a discount.

Yeah, that's what everybody keeps telling me, and I know it, but I still feel bad about this whole thing and will until it blows over and things normalize again.

Ooh, I adore Twilight Princess. It's my favorite along with Wind Waker. The HD remaster is really well done and I've had lots of fun playing it. And the Wolf Link amiibo looks nice too for its size, the additional challenge dungeon in TP and the Breath of the Wild compatibility only make it better. I'm looking forward to the Switch but probably won't get one immediately upon release. I'll probably give it a year unless an exclusive title I must have pops up. I'll always encourage Fire Emblem pickups. ;) Awakening got a Nintendo Selects release in Japan (their equivalent anyway) so I wouldn't be surprised if similar happens here. FYI if you ever do get Fates, don't buy both physical copies unless you absolutely can't do digital. After you buy one game you can get the other paths for only $20 in the eShop.

Things are getting complicated again with work because of the transition. I'm not sure when I'll be able to switch over completely now. It doesn't feel good when a lot of people are fighting and it's because of me.

Happy late birthday! For what it's worth I'm almost 23 and still feel like a child sometimes, but there are plenty of people way older than us that I see act like children so I try not to care too much.

I'll let you know. :) I still haven't started it yet. I love fire Pokemon, but I did go with Snivy for Black/White. They're all cute this round (except Litten's final evol is ugh). Been playing FE Fates (grinding to unlock all support conversations) and Uncharted 4 since my brother got a PS4 for Christmas, so I've been kept busy.

My job change is effective now even though I'm still in the transition period. Things are... tense, but I'm really glad for the change, I was getting burned out and was very sick of answering the phones for reception. The environment will be a positive change and the pay raise is nice too, especially since I've been bitten by the doujinshi bug and gone on a spending spree for Fire Emblem goods. But I'm just really glad the stress and tension of being caught in between is finally ending this month.

Has anything new been going on with you? Is school still going well?

Hope the holidays have been treating you well. I got Moon now so I'll start playing it soon-ish. I'm still undecided on which starter I should pick. Litten's adorable and I love that it's a fire/dark kitty but I don't like its final evolution design.

I see what you mean about Felix (he does look like a girl so it makes since to be tricked by him), and yeah we don't really know Roma's goals/endgame. I want her to be really important but Furuta is way more important than her.

That's fair enough, was it too over the top? Or did you flat out find it boring?

it's like a sports fantasy league but with the new seasons anime you get points on who is watching it, who dropped it, and who has it as a favorite, there is still time to make a team check out the contest forum if you are interested

I'm a guy lol. I like him as a character, not because people sexualize him though.

Villains usually tend to be my favorites, I feel a villain's written well if they end up being more likeable/has better reasoning than the protagonists. They usually have a certain charismatic charm about that I respect. Like Dio for example.
