My name is Alexi, I live in the United States, and I am definitely autistic.
It took me 25 years to figure out what's wrong with me, but now that I know, I feel so much better.
I am currently writing TWO novels, one called "BLUESTAR" and one called "One Good Night's Sleep".
I have to finish both before the end of the summer!!

My favorite anime is Inuyasha, my favorite food is undefined, and I LOVE love love love Nendoroids more than anything!!
I also love collecting toys in general and I love Fire Emblem!
I love being enthusiastic and I feel especially excited because I'm making good progress towards my goals!!

Most of the music that I listen to is 50s & 60s rock and roll, as I grew up playing my grandparent's old records when I was a kid. I also listen to a little bit of 70s and 80s as well, and I've recently been listening to J-Pop from the 70s and 80s recently.

Yes, YTV aired Escalfowne here in Canada back around 2000. I don't think I saw the whole thing, though. I'll probably go watch it again someday.

No, I never heard about Cartoon Network Studios shutting down. Cartoon Network didn't air here in Canada until the 2010s, and once we got it, it never included the Toonami programming block, so no anime ever aired on that channel up here, so I never watched it, lol.

I saw anime on Canadian cartoon channels YTV and Teletoon growing up in the 90s. Also, there was "Fox Kids" on Saturday mornings that aired some anime for a while.

I'll admit, it's rare for me to push myself outside of my comfort zone. I tried collecting stamps and coins a few years ago, but I only stayed into those hobbies for a few months, and never really got back into them, lol.

I like taking pictures of things, but I don't have a usable camera at the moment, besides my cellphone's camera. My old Canon Powershot A570 is still laying around, but the battery door is partially broken, so it's almost impossible for me to get it to stay on, lol.

I've never seen Hal, but I've heard of it, so perhaps I'll watch it sometime.

Hmm, for movies, it all depends on what stuff you're into, but "Little Witch Academia," "Promare" and "Arcadia of My Youth" are stuff that I really enjoyed, and would highly recommend. I'd also recommend the Haruhi movie, but only if you've seen the series first.

Yeah, I've been paranoid about flooding for years, because my parent's basement sometimes flooded, but thankfully, the apartment I'm in is nowhere near any flood zones, so I should be safe.

And I do feel rather old on here, as most users are much younger than me, but it's not the end of the world. I just focus on the anime that I want to watch, and try my best to remember to update the fansub and scanlation lists in the club that I created for old school anime.

I haven't done much this summer, as I've been staying indoors due to the heat. I recently moved into a basement apartment, and it's much cooler in here during the hotter months, although the view isn't too nice. I have to get up on a stool to look out the window, lol.

Hi! Regarding bottom surgery, I have the doctor's notes for it, and I'm still waiting for a call from the place that will perform my surgery. Once I get that call, it'll be roughly 6 months later that I'll be travelling for surgery. It probably won't be the end of this year now, but sometime in early 2024 unfortunately, but that's better than nothing.

How have you been? I see that you've been writing two novels. How's the progress coming along?

In regards to resolutions, I'm hoping that I can get bottom surgery before the end of this year. It's covered, so I don't have to pay for it, but I'm not sure how long the wait will be once I get a consultation for it.

Yes, I own a few record players, which is probably more than I need, lol.

I don't play records every single day anymore, but every now and then, it's still nice to listen to them.

Yes, I've written many songs as a teenager, but not so much since I've gotten older, unfortunately. Most of my music has a 50s/60s sound, as I grew up playing my grandparents old records as a kid, which made me love older music.
