Cool deal,; just try not to judge it off initial impressions. There's a lot of really in-depth analyses out there that ended up painting the story in a completely different light for me. Hell, even my friend Aldnox and I were have a discussion about it recently, and he brought up some really interesting points I overlooked. I consider it to be Urobuchi's magnum opus, but to each their own! :)
I've actually yet to see Psycho-Pass, but it's up there on my list of things I'll be watching sooner than later, so I'll let you know how I liked that one as well :D
I only mentioned it because I see a lot of people disregarding it at first glance, but I think that was actually Urobushi's motive. It works as a counterpart to the original series, playing on the same symbolism of "balance" presented in the series. Idk, it's just interesting stuff to look into :)
iirc shield grabs got nerfed compared to sm4sh... I think they take a few frames longer if your shield gets hit (e.g. you shield-grab after their landing aerial) so some characters actually have enough time to land and attack before your grab hitbox activates. probably not a noticeable difference besides maybe in the top-tier players though. anyways, yeah good luck!
which region are you from btw? would be cool to play online if you're interested!
o yeah I had a tough transition from sm4sh to ultimate too since I was a roll/airdodge-spammer back then haha. once you get used to ultimate's aggressive options and faster-paced gameplay I think ultimate becomes much more fun and exciting. I'm sure your gsp will climb easily with more experience too! chrom's pretty disgusting on-stage but he's absolute trash off-stage haha, whereas with lucina you can go off-stage and edgeguard people much more aggressively. oof I've encountered a few DDD's online that were pretty frustrating to play against. Ken...interesting, I have 0 experience with/against the shoryuken gang >__>
Oh yeah, absolutely- Urobuchi really is. That was a fantastic episode, and of course that speech he gave to Waver (and the scene after.....) in "The Ocean at the End of the World"... someone was cutting onions right around then xD
Speaking of Urobuchi, I see we disagree a bit on the third Madoka film. I'm always respectful of others' tastes, so no need to worry about a flame war on my part (lol), but if I may ask: have you seen it more than just that once? I didn't care for it much myself at first, but after some pretty deep analysis, I now consider it to be a masterpiece of literary devices and allegories, and one of Urobuchi's boldest scripts. :P
dangggg you must've been really good! I was a filthy casual back in sm4sh but now I play semi-casually(?).. mostly just because my friends are in elite smash and I leech good practice off of them. but yeah my mains (lucina/palutena/inkling) hover around ~3.4mil gsp if that means anything to you. which character(s) do you play?
And yeah, I guess you could say that, haha. I'm typically always watching some psychological show.. or a romcom, lmao
I see you're repping Fate/Zero; such a great show dude. Rider is one of my favorite characters of all time! :)
