About your review.
Shun has never been this happy/calm his entire life, he mentions it multiple times to Mio that he's glad he got back with his family, or expressing his gratitude to mio and such. Sometimes a person doesn't need to ask anything, their actions will speak for them, that's exactly mio, he changes shun's life everyday by being positive and cheerful around him and being his usual self, what's better than this to lift up your spirit?
Shun doesn't really talk about his past anyway, and almost always changes the subject or just doesn't elaborate. So he doesn't really need someone to talk about his past with, he just wants someone to be there for him. Because the past is in the past. I think he already has expressed anything that bothered him and mio was really considerate and hears him out, he doesn't really want him to make half assed reactions or pity him and make a big deal out of it, he just wants to get it off his chest, and get on with his life
As for expressions, I think they're just part of his character, even when he's calm and happy he just looks in pain lmao, and his work of course.
(I'm sorry for talking about this so suddenly haha, I just wanted to share my thoughts. Have a nice day)
