i did, took me awhile not cause it was long cause it short but cause i took many breaks but the stands werent confusing in either part 6 or 7 was all pretty normal to follow if u pay attention, its part 8 thats confusing af i heard. the adaption is good as always, david production always goes hard with the JoJo adaptions. MAD respect on it, gets the vibe down to a T.

oh no I get that, to me its dumb and stupid in a bad way but I understand why U think that, the jokes in part 5 where pretty funny, im also not really a big jojo fan in general, like I like JoJo but not like I love it. Only thing I liked abt part 6 was the ending which we wont be seeing for at least a year+ which is annoying.

I have jojo part 6 a 2 cause I hate part 6. I dislike the characters for one, I also hate how dumb and just bad the story is in part 6, many other small details.

Haha yeah you never know what to expect in myanimelist, I mean I understand it won’t be for everyone but maybe with different expectations the show will be a bit more enjoyable or bearable.

Honestly thanks for being civil, i think the reason i kinda snapped was because i just wasn’t expecting that reaction from hockey fans at all lol. I watched every promotional material form this show since 6 moths a got that it was announced so maybe thats why i wasn’t disappointed but i could maybe see myself being disappointed if i thought it was a just hockey anime.

The fake american stuff is just banter lol honestly you guys have it too good with having poutine and all so i had to come up with fake “insults”. Personally i totally wanted Montreal to win i supported them since the vegas series (I’m a pens fan but i needed another team when they got eliminated lol) I would be happy to see them win it hopefully my comment is a reverse jinx.

And regarding the opening sequence, I think they showed that at the beginning because they wanted to grab the viewers attention as quick as possible, for a Japanese audience that knows sports anime and idol anime but not hockey maybe thats the right strategy, BUT for a hockey market that maybe doesn’t appreciate idol shows and expected a hockey anime i can see why the change between hockey and idol stuff gave them whiplash.

I mean try giving it a shot, i doubt it’ll be an insightful show but with the expectations that it’ll have good animated on ice segments here and there (it might not seem like much, but we might not see something like it again in our lifetimes lol) and being an idol show it might have some banger songs (The OP they showed during the credits was actually sick imo) you might enjoy it a bit more.
