OK if you ever visit, DO NOT go to the museum in Causeway Bay unless you have a good reason to. The store in Sham Shui Po is good, but the museum is located in the dodgiest, shadowy place EVER. And the interior is completely pink.
Yeah and I went to the museum afterwards with my parents. Yeeeaaaaahhhhh.
After that they were giving me weird looks and telling me I should reconsider my interests lol.
And the thing I bought was some laminated A5(?) size photo/mousepad (?) of Yuki, cos the Shinoda one wasn't that great. Set me back HK$38 though. My brother was already having a fit over that...so you can imagine what happened after the trip to the museum.............
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you as well. Visited the Sham Shui Po store yesterday.....
Maaannnn was I surprised.....almost walked past the shop without knowing it was open.
Ok, imagine this:
Black exterior with pink logo as you approach it from an escalator and then on the back exterior wall (white) there's pictures of every individual member. Then you step inside....
Black interior with yellow LED lighting and lots...I mean LOTS of screens....each showing a different PV of the group's singles. Then there's this big projector (pull-down like those at school) screen that plays the Ue Kara Mariko PV on repeat.
But the MERCHANDISE....holy crap!!!!
T-shirts, photobooks, photo album books, trading cards, calendars, posters, CDs, DVDs, mousepads, stickers (there's a whole bunch of these!), fans (the manual ones that you wave around) and....
JIGSAW PUZZLES of individual members.....wtf man. That just took the cake for the day.
And ALL of this stuff was very expensive. Daaamn.
I did buy something though. Hehe. Tell you later though.
Dude, in Beijing we went to buy Chinese Medicine as well (my dad tells me it was also Tong Ren Tang--the main branch lol). They tried to get us to buy tea, pearls, jade, foot medicine and silk as well.
And nah I'm staying in North Point, but I'll definitely give time to go to the AKB48 museum in Causeway Bay mwahahahahaha.
