I'm just a big fan of that part of pop culture that deals about storytelling, especifically TV and Cinema, and one of the biggest products that exists regarding stories told visually is the fantastic genre of anime, being honest, when I was a kid I couldn't tell if what was in front of my eyes were anime shows or not, only having the doubt that they were a little bit different than classic cartoons for the way they were executed working on different categories (especially about having asian letters in the course of the endings), but as of now I've been watching a diverse variarity of animes series and some movies, most of them that are of course very popular in the community, seeing them with a more mature and focused perspective, this is a great genre that thanks to its animation in particular allows its stories to be told in a deeper and more beautiful way than usual, which I clearly love (especially the exposition). I try always to differentiate my personal taste or preference "Hey, I like this!", and my critical professional opinion "Well, I think that's a well paced and developed story", one of the main keys from my point of view to be a great fan and critic, which is something most people out there don't have (I hope I don't look like a pretentious jerk), so all in all I'd really like to get along with everybody here discussing about this fantastic media of storytelling.
