Don't be sad, even if the world won't forgive you, I'll forgive you
Don't be sad, even if you won't forgive the world, I'll forgive you
So please tell me, how do I make you forgive me?
Laughing Bull said to me, "Swimming bird, do you know what your soul is made from?"
I said, "No. Probably some cotton dust that's rolling around somewhere."
Bull said, "That answer is wrong, yet correct. Your body is connected to the universe,
yet it is not, your soul includes the entire universe, yet it does not. That is for me and for everyone.
If you hate someone, you hate yourself, if you love someone, you love yourself."
I said, "I don't feel anything towards anyone in this world." Bull said, "That is the greatest misfortune on this earth."
My sorrow was the deepest, because I knew that there was no way out of this maze
Your sorrow was the second deepest, because you didn't know that there was no way out of this maze
All other people had no sorrow at all, because they didn't know that they were in a maze in the first place.
Purity is
Beautiful
Fragile
And irreplaceable.
In reality,
All I ever wanted,
When I took your hand,
In that red world,
Was for you to turn around.
We wish for no less than eternity, but this holy vow is just another step into our future.
I've joined MAL at the beginning of 2011 and it was love at first sight.
I was already interested in anime before joining MAL, though I had only a few completed series back then
and I didn't watch them regularly. One day I saw interesting Chobits AMV on YouTube and starting from that
moment something changed, I got interested much more into anime and started watching series regularly and
actually it still continues today. Of course sometimes I have shorter or longer periods without watching
anything, it's always good to take a break sometimes to not get bored, but usually those breaks aren't too long.
I was also able to meet a lot of great people here, I'm not really a social media site person,
MAL is the only exception for me, so I'm always open for conversation, feel free to write to me if you want
to talk about manga/anime or anything else.
I'm also reading manga daily now, they have amazing stories as well, so I'm glad I got interested in them.
Usually I give strict ratings for watched/read series, though everyone has right to rate in their own way,
that's why I'm fine with the way I rate. On the other hand series with high scores on my lists are definitely
a good choices at least for me, so if you're looking for a recommendation, you can check them out.
I also love shaft graphics.
I used to play games a lot, but now I'm only playing from time to time in my free time.
I also don't like random friend request, please talk to me first.
I Yuuko from EF and Kamui from X
Evanescence is my favorite band, though I'm listening to different kind of music recently.
Feel free to write to me if you wish to talk with me about something, I will reply certainly.
Yeah, the last 2-3 months have been extremely busy for me >.< I couldn't even really watch or read because I had to drive by car and this just added more stress. I might have a bit more time for a few days now but soon I'll start a new project at work too and then I'll be quite busy again. Oh well, hopefully it won't be too bad. I hope it's already less stressful for you now that your work is not that new anymore :)
Sailor Moon was the reason why I got addicted to anime and manga :D I too watched it on TV as well as some other series that were shown on TV back then. I actually still like it a lot, I rewatched it 1-2 years ago and it reminded me so much of how much fun I had back then with the series.
Haha, I hadn't met anyone like that in real life either! It was a (very pleasant) surprise, actually! I started in this new job almost a month ago and there he was, my fellow-noob - a very friendly web developer who loves anime!
Well, if you ever get in the mood, J-dramas are generally entertaining. There are many of them that are largely influenced by the manga/anime style and "antics", so the overall acting and directing do take after them. There are several manga adaptations among them. One I remember now is Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. Also Hana-Kimi and Hana Yori Dango. Oh, and the amazing Liar Game! AH, Zettai Kareshi, too!
These are some older titles (about a decade old I think...? Maybe a bit less) and I haven't read any manga, but I thought that the series live action version was great in all cases.
Of course, there are more "serious" options, too, actual dramas, police/detective series, romantic comedies etc. Just like in the case of anime and manga, there is a huge variety and all stories are woven and directed with this special sentimental streak all Japanese stories have.
Hmm... you know, it seems to me that we have globally entered a strange, unsatisfactory and rather gloomy period where we don't really like the world we live in. And this shows especially in how we all think about our countries. Or maybe we just don't like our fellow people much anymore :)
In any case, Greece is great for spring and summertime vacation and sightseeing (just not permanent residence!), although it can get too hot! I would much prefer a cooler place like Poland right now! :)
:) I'm sure I won't regret it in the end! It was actually my colleague at work who proposed Guilty Crown, after he heard I watched Shugo Chara and liked it. (Lucky me, I never thought I would have a colleague who is an anime fan!)
This past week I actually got back to watching J-doramas again and I'm now finishing the one I chose. I'll combine some Attack on Titan and Guilty Crown after that!
Oh, it's great to meet people from around the world! That's the reason I fell in love with the internet ever since middle school. I've never been to Poland, either.
I'm pretty sure you will if you keep watching anime and reading manga :) I started 17-18 years ago but I had a break of a few years inbetween. I was on a break until I joined MAL, actually most of the series I watched/read after joining and finding out how much there is :D
Starting a new job is always stressful but anime/manga is a good way to relax after work. I also use the times I commute to and from work to watch/read stuff on my phone or tablet, but that's of course only possible if you use the bus or train and it's not too full >.<
I think tinypic changes images after a few years :/ I once saw a club here on MAL which suddenly had pictures that showed old clothes lol. If I remember correctly they were hosted on tinypic. For most things I use imgur now but they change the file name to some random name and this means I have to change all my links manually >.<
Well, I will definitely give Guilty Crown another shot - my slight OCD tendencies just won't allow me to actually drop it :) I'll get back to it, eventually. I am from Athens, Greece. May I ask where are you from, as well, Reitsuzu-chan? :D
Good morning! Ah yes, I think the remake will take some time, too.
Yes, I dropped it for now, it just didn't make me feel that "one more episode!" kind of feeling-urge. Of course, I've only watched three episodes so far, but still... In the end, I got totally sidetracked and ended up on the J-dorama side :P
Planning on starting Attack on Titan this weekend.
Oh God yes, I am looking forward to the Remake!!
The video bits & pieces leaked by Square so far look amazing! I can't wait! I must say though, I have a gnawing feeling they have changed the characters' face structure nowadays... There was this video I saw, unfortunately I can't remember whether it was an FFVII Remake one, or a Dissidia (possibly the 2nd) and Sephiroth's face was downright triangular and way too long and narrow (compared to his Crisis Core & Advent Children depictions).
Hi Reitsuzu, thanks for posting! It's nice to meet you, too!
It's a relief knowing I'm not the only "golden-oldy" around :) (even if you are younger than me). I don't seriously care about age, although I don't know whether the current teen-young adults anime generation sees me as "kuso baba" :P
Ah, that's ok, they'll get it when they get older, since anime love is not something you can easily discard or "grow out of" with age. On the contrary. Any-hoo, sorry for blabbing here! Fell free to contact me anytime!
Thanks :) Yeah some days ago photobucket (where I hosted those pictures) decided to stop supporting 3rd party hosting unless you pay 400$ per year! Which is super ridiculous, I'm not gonna pay that much just to host some pictures. I plan to move the pictures to another hosting website but I currently don't really have the time to do this so it will probably be broken for a while >.<
Hello there, Reitsuzu. It's equally nice to see that artwork of Mion on your profile, I really like that one and the whole vintage feel it has. I sorta got more into Higurashi last summer, I'd watched it earlier but I just started to know more about it at that time. So Mion's your favourite character from it, I presume? Also, have you watched/read Umineko?
And you also are a Sailor Moon and Clamp fan, how very nice indeed. Who's your favorite Senshi? Oh, that picture of Neptune is certainly great, since you didn't know about it, I assume you don't know that that is a series of pictures of the Outers in Princess-like attires, I like the art nouveau style in which they're drawn, just google them by typing 'sailor moon art nouveau fan art'. As for Clamp, I only got into it last year and xxxHolic is the only one I've watched read so far but I really like the fairy tale feel Clamp has and their incredible artworks. And Yuko's magnificent.
Thanks for the welcome and we truly seem to have similar tastes, so, let's get along.
*jots something down*
Photofilter... I see, I'll try to take a look at it too. Haha, IDK someone just recommended PS for me since I'm asking how to edit some pictures. I'm enjoying quite a bit playing with it. Have practiced some vectoring, its like I'm returning to childhood playing with connect-the-dots books! Haha, it's still a bit messy but I'm working on it!
Okay, I'll really read the visual novel and tell you about it when I'm done! Ahaha.. yes kinda, there's a lot of friendly faces I meet and it's nice sharing coversations with them. Now if only my visual novel companion would pop out here, then all my wishes would be fulfilled!
Ours look great then!
I have yet to learn much about photoshop, but if I have more time later, I think I'll go practice vectoring. I did it once before, it's like making connect the dots on a picture, pretty amusing! But it takes some time, I guess you'll get better the more you practice it.
Oh, it's something to look forward to the, I have the VN also sitting around somewhere. I guess I'll queue it up too, thanks (❁´◡`❁)
Thanks for the welcome Reitsuzu, I'll do my best!
BTW, your profile is really nice! Have yet to read ef: A Tale of Memories, the VN I mean.
But I think its a promising read (*^ワ^*)
