I'm just a student who likes to spend his time watching anime and reading manga. I started watching anime in 2012. Hunter x Hunter 2011 was my first "real" amime I watched, recommended by a friend of mine. This series pulled me into this culture and I have enjoyed this medium since then.

I don't consider myself an elitist of any sort, but I'm fairly critical when rating series. Alot of people base their score solely on their enjoyment or how much they like something. Enjoyment is a big factor for me, but I like to rate series based on their overall writing, premise, character development and world-building to name a few. The quality of the animation isn't a huge deal for me. I rather watch an old series with bad animation and a great story than an anime with great animation, but a bad story.
