Hope life's been going well for you, honestly though it's crazy how much has happened this year a day after my birthday (I live in Israel and let's just say this has been the worst year of my life) hoping for peace or an end to the war by my next birthday though.

Yeah definitely, there is a lot of competition in landing CS jobs since so many people choose to get computer related majors. One of my past coworkers also struggled finding a job in the industry because of it. Also it's a big time commitment since there's a lot of material so burnout is definitely expected. Hope you'll enjoy re-watching Steins;Gate and also watching Kaiji whenever you get around to it. I watched them both back to back in early 2021 and thought I reached the peak of anime back then lol.

Well since I saw that you're studying computer science then it's definitely a great career path! If you land a job in a high tech company you could earn a great salary. Which other career paths are you thinking of? As for myself, been doing fine, working a bit less but it feels great to have more free time, as long as I do 13 hour shifts on Friday and Saturdays I get a high bonus so it works well. My recommendation would definitely be Steins;Gate watched the anime 2.6 ago and currently I'm going through the visual novel since I bought it on Steam and I'm addicted. Also definitely try Kaiji it's a very suspenseful gambling anime with very high stakes and incredible thriller moments, highly recommend it.

Oh no! That's kind of a shame, but I assume there's nothing we can really do about that. Do you collect anything? I also collect anime DVDs and video games and art books, for example. I also started collecting music CDs this year.

Oh yeah, I know about those and have read some of it in the past. It's just I've become quite a bit of a manga collector. Do you collect manga too?
