Yeah we also have pretty high taxes and the process to become a citizen here is pretty intensive and time consuming. You have to take a test and pass to finish the process as far as I know.
That is true debt isn't as straightforward as it seems. It's just that it keeps increasing so much. We also have a dept, but ours is really really slowly decreasing. I mean in the pace it would still take more than 800 years to be fully out of dept, but atleast its not increasing.
A normal meal here is around 16 dollars or so. For one or two dollars you don't get more than a single hamburger from MCDonalds or so. Water here can indeed easily be a dollar here. Well we work with euro's, so it would be a little more then a dollar if it's 1 euro here.
Well I speak/write my native language better for sure, it's the language is use 80% of the time.
That is a shame, but then again most big companies are settled in big lands. Here we do have a few game studios. Guerrilla games is maybe the most famous one, they made Killzone and Horizon Zero Dawn.
As for anime/series nothing really worth mentioning as far as I know.
That is a shame, here they are pretty chill with censorship. Lot's of dutch movies feature nudity, and they are even PG 13+ rated quite often.
I see then I like your actual voice more, but of course you should make the content you are most happy with. ;)
Well America richest country? it's also the country with most debts about $26.000.000.000.000 and still rising. So it depends on how you see rich. I would love to visit America, but I wouldn't move there (probably).
Same here, I prefer English over my native language as well, in terms where I think it sounds better. English indeed plays a very big part in gaming/anime well atleast for me. I played English games at a age of 5 or so.
Well I don't know your actually voice, but the voice from the godless winter poem.
Your voice doesn't sound like native American or English to me, maybe it's the editing. Well in my English you can also hear that is't not my native language. Well I do like your voice, it fits the style very well.
No I was actually talking about your first 2 uploads, the heavily edited one I don't like as much. It's sounds a bit robotic to me, I like the ones with less editing more.
I see, well I'm not so much into the heavy stuff like that, but I'll listen to something, If you are proud of it. ;)
Sucks, but happy that you learned it.
I donnow I guess I've never really been interested in Norway, maybe because I would never really leave the Netherlands in favor of Norway.
Haha, in English it's sounds pretty dope indeed xD
I see, I listened to a few of your poems, they are very heavy, but do sound nice. You have a nice voice that really fits they style of the poems in a good way. ^^
I also saw your insta, I'm no artist myself, but it does look good.
As soon as you stop caring about opinions of random people and only from the once you love, you gonna feel a lot better. I also learned that after a while.
I agree your future should be something you decide on your own. I mean your parents should support you, but not decide.
Haha I was just kidding ;)
Netherlands isn't a great as Canada I think, I don't know about Norway though.
That's the spirit, without that it won't really work-out I think.
I know, it sounds nice though. There are always flaws in every country with every person
I see, I didn't got that idea from what you where telling. Just that like you said there are little consequences for walking in opposite direction as to speak. Still even when it's not legal and only social it's still not what it should be in my eyes and I understand your wish to seek a new life.
I'm to opposite, I don't really like debate and as long as it not super important or interesting to me, I'm quick to agree, just to be done with it. I do respect the opinion of others, here on MAL I didn't have heated debates, but I have had disagreements about anime's, but everyone is so mature about it. Let's agree to disagree is something everyone here seems to understand. ^^
Yeah that is hard, I not sure how hard it would be to leave the Netherlands for me, but my family that is gonna be heartbreaking for me. I don't think I could do it.
No over here we are allowed to say what we want, you can even argue with your boss and no one bats an eye. As long as you keep it normal and don't start to swear or discriminate or so its all fine. Only 3th choice, we should be number one, JK xD
No I think living here is nice, but it's not easy to make a start here when you move here from outside the European Union.
I see, do you share you work somewhere? would love to read it, if you are comfortable with sharing of course.
What are the poems about?
Yeah I mean currently you are not fond of your country so I think you'll indeed get moer patriotic once you find paradise. I mean when dutch people are playing sports for example and do good, I do feel a bit proud for example.
I see, well if some speech is off limit, it doesn't sounds like freedom of speech to me. The fact that so many people are people with faith also usually means there isn't complete freedom of speech. I have nothing against faith and believers, as long as they accept people with other believes as well. I myself am a believer of the evolution theory of Darwin and I don't believe in the religions, but do respect them. Well most of it.
Sounds cool, what kind of novels are you writing? like what genres or stories?
Yeah I'm also not fond of the patriotism. I mean I like living here, but it's not like I would die for my country.
Mmm that sounds harsh, I don't really pay attention to the freedom of speech we have here, because for me it just feels like a normal thing. I think it's one of those things you start the appreciate once you don't have it anymore or suddenly get it.
That is strange, well some people have such a strong feeling of patriotism, that they are able to overlook those negative things.
Mmm not sure if artist here have big chances of a career, I don't know about that sector. Well here everyone can have their own opinion, so if you want te be negative you can, but if you want to be positive you can as well. I see, well I really like living here, but I'm not sure how easy it is for people that move to here.
Well the big cities have that problem for sure, I don't really know about rural areas. I think it depends on location. The rural areas around a big city probably also have that problem, but ones a bit further away, probably have more options.
Both countries sounds very good, I'm don't know much about Norway, expect it can get pretty cold there. Canada is a very cool country, If I ever wanted to move, canada would definitely be on my mind.
Well that is where I live ^^
It's a pretty relax country if you ask me, but people can be very direct with you. It is hard to get a good job and house over here though. Even dutch people with a normal job already sometimes have a hard time getting a house.
Yeah me too, I tried to learn Hiragana once, but lost motivation when I had to cancel my plan of going to Japan at the time. I wouldn't move for anime, but I do love all the standards and respect and such they have there.
I see, I'm also don't really read much manga, only ones that continue where the anime stopped or ones that don't have a anime adaptation.
I don't really watch seasonals, but I heard there are a few really good ones during the last season.
Yeah life is good, enjoying my last weeks off vacation.
As for anime I'm not currently watching anything, I was thinking of finally finish reading Oreimo LN first.
Yeah it is, I've not seen it myself, still something I have to watch someday.
No problem ;), and I've never used my phone for conversations, so I have no idea.
