About me

I'm a fan of anime, manga, light novels, vocaloid, and just about anything else remotely Japanese and nerdy. I haven't had much time to watch anime recently thanks to being constantly swamped with college work, but hopefully that will change. My favorite anime genres are psychological, thriller, and supernatural, although I'll generally watch anything that seems interesting enough. My scores are based heavily on my own personal enjoyment of the anime, although the actual quality still plays a large part. My absolute favorite anime is the Monogatari series, and it holds a lot of personal significance to me.

Other interests

I have quite a few interests outside of anime. I'm a big fan of metal, and it's pretty much the only type of music I listen to aside from Japanese music. I'm also an avid gamer. I play games from all different genres, but my favorites all seem to be RPGs and metroidvanias. Among my all-time favorites are Persona 5, Skyrim, Hollow Knight, and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

Nice! Let me know what you thought about the anime if you ever watch it. It's not the greatest adaptation ever but I think it's worth watching if you're a fan of the VNs. The Grisaia no Rakuen anime was pretty faithful to the VN if I recall correctly though (well except for the explicit scenes ofc).

Thanks! Yeah I've played the visual novels, it's one of my favorites. I actually played them after I watched the anime series and they were much better in terms of content but I still enjoyed the anime a lot. Michiru is great too!

I only have done 2 endings for VLR a few months ago. Need to finish >_<

Never played the Sakura ones. Doki Doki Literature Club...ugh lol

And no I am not down, was disappointed though but it's whatever.
Not watching the Alicization arc until it gets dubbed, not a big fan of SAO at all.
Index S3 I will get to whenever I finish S2, just too lazy for that right now

I'm also a fan of Metallica and Disturbed (which you mentioned with "Down with the Sickness"), as well as many many others, some of which include Korn, Breaking Benjamin, and Slipknot.

Yeah I know about Majikoi, my friend has it as one of his favorite VNs xD I need to get to it myself it looks great. Same with Muv Luv 😂 And yeah lemme see haha. Regarding Zero Escape, only did 999 and doing VLR but haven't played in a bit because got sidetracked.

Oh i'm good. Last weekend kind of sucked though. Had a cold last week and we got 2 new cats at PetsMart for my mom's birthday last weekend but the kitten I got was sick and ended up dying Tuesday :/

To be honest, it's a pain in the ass making a favorite character list because I love so many characters XD I had Araragi on here but I was trying to do the whole "One character per series" kind of way of doing it well...*points to Rin and Gil* 😂 Ugh, might try to work on that lmao. Sorry was babbling on out of boredom
