Hmm...my take on Bitter Virgin...
well, it was a different kind of manga i usually enjoy.
I didn't know what it was about, and started reading for the art, thinking it's going to be a romance/comedy, but when the tragedy first hit, i couldn't stop.
even the length of manga was great. not too long, not too short, and ended up reading every page (usually i''ll just see the pictures and skip through).
yaya I know what you mean. That's cool about you're character dress up project; I hope it goes well! As for the whole clique thing... as we get older I think all that crap starts to fade away anyways. It's all immaturity. If someone likes to read/watch/do something then who cares, let them do it, you know? My closest group of friends (the one's I hang out with everyday) are so diverse because we all think like that. Some of them are completely into the music scene, go to local shows and reminisce about past shows and how the local music scene isn't the same as it was 4 years ago. Sometimes we'll go with them. Others are into frisbe, softball, and are HUGE sports fan and watch ESPN 24/7. Another one loves to play videogames. Most of us party our ass off and drink a lot, one or two are big pot heads, and one is straight edge and just hangs out when we do all that. It goes a long way to have an open mind and I tend to just go with the flow of things. Sorry for unnecessary info about my friends but I wanted to say that because the reason I'm friends with my friends is because we're "all around" guys/girls and pretty much take life one step at a time and have fun with it.
ps. btw it's nice that you tell me about yourself because instead of writing to a livejournal it's nice to converse and listen/learn about someone else, you know? btw how old are you and all that stuff? lol dw not a stalker, just curious to know with whom I am talking. :P
heyo. thanks for the comment on my blog! I appreciate the feedback and I agree on what you were saying. As for a rebuttal (I don't know what else to call it) I'd like to say I'm not obsessed; for me it's more of a pass-time then anything. So if people ask, I just reply I watch it when I'm bored at home. So I agree with you're philosophy. What I don't get it is why people group people who watch anime as "Anime-Freaks". I mean they're are a lot who are obsessed, believe me, my school had a whole group who'd wear cosplay to school... lol. But for the enthusiast like us, we find it somewhat embarrassing... which I think I shouldn't. You know? I don't know... that's my rant. Sorry. Thanks for the friend request. Stay classy.
