A BRIEF INTRODUCTION
As an early teenager I used to watch a lot of anime, but nowadays I find myself cringing at them more often than not; that's why I've decided to create this anime list, where I keep track of the titles that have struck me the most so I don't forget them. Don't be fooled by the overwhelmingly positive average score!



In case you were wondering, here's how my rating system works:

(1) - The anime has literally nothing going for it, and it's completely unwatchable without cringing hard. These titles should just not be published.

(2) - The anime is terrible, close to unwatchable, but it still has one ore two aspects that are below or slightly below average to save it. These titles are usually either really bad or meant for a tasteless audience.

(3) - The anime is below average, it's irritating to watch, but still somewhat bearable. These titles are usually painfully stereothypical or simplistic, filled to the brim with nonsensical or cringy motivations for the story to progress, and with a terrible ending.

(4) - The anime is slightly below average, some parts of it are irritating, but some other are average or acceptable. It's still filled to the brim with nonsense and stereothypes, but they're ever so slightly adapted to the settings or the story in question.

(5) - The anime is average, it's stereothypical and shallow in every aspect, but constructed enough that it's only mildly irritating to watch. It's probably designed to be a mass-pleaser, with little to nothing original going for it.

(6) - The anime is acceptable, it's still mostly stereothypical and shallow, but there are glimpses of originality, be it a single character trait or a detail of the setting/story, which makes it slightly enjoyable to watch. The cringe and the nonsense are still there, but in a barely bearable amount.

(7) - The anime is almost good, it's clearly got some original ideas, but they're either rare or poorly executed. The good-cringe rate is about 50-50, which makes the title enjoyable with a little endurance. It's still not a well made product, but with a bit of work the second season might be.

(8) - The anime is good, it's still got some issues, but they're not as frequent or untolerable. The title is mostly enjoyable, with some stereothypical or shallow aspects that hold it back from being a completely original work. Overall a well-made product, with medium to little nonsensical elements and/or a good ending.

(9) - The anime is really good, it's mostly well made, with striking original elements and/or strikingly good execution. The title shows little to no nonsensical elements, everything is tied together well enough for it to be really enjoyable and memorable, despite some minor disturbing elements. It's usually not that far away from a 10, but it does't strike quite as hard.

(10) - The anime is great, a well-rounded product that either has no flaws or only forgettable ones, it's extremely original in one or more aspects, and really well executed in most areas. These animes tend to have a unique atmosphere that prints deep in the memory, and makes them instantly recognizable compared to the average product.They don't need to be perfect, just good enough to leave a mark.
