I just enjoy watching animes without bothering about if they're objectively good or bad. I just watch them and try to understand the consistency of the world that is right before my eyes.

I haven't watched Kill La Kill so I can't comment on that one, but if you think the recap of Sword Art Online: Alicization (SAO:A) is bad, you need to watch Beatless. I loved that anime (so close to 10/10 ending too), but it had a recap every 6 episodes or so, and they were recaps in every sense of the word. Unlike SAO:A that gave the excuse of explaining things to Alice, Beatless gave no excuse for their recaps, they were just random recaps as if a lot of people in Japan missed at least one episode every 5th week. So having just finished Beatless, I loved SAO:A's recap as it was far better and didn't feel like a recap in comparison. It was a pretty great recap if you think about it without comparing it to Kill La Kill's presumably superior recap.
