Thanks! That thread actually got deleted for being spam, haha. I guess I need to be more careful. There's this sour patch commercial, and it says 'Sour Patch Kids, sweet sour gone,' and I replaced gone with Gon. That's the joke :)
I remember randomly coming across a youtube video of an anime fight (I think it might of been Magi? Idk) and I thought that the animation was breathtaking. From then on, I just started watching anime. As for H x H, I had already taken an interest in shounen anime/manga when I came across MAL. Hunter x Hunter was pretty high on the Top Anime List, so I checked it out. It had good reviews, so I started watching it. I really liked it :)
Haha, I guess. In all honesty, I haven't seen too much anime. So for the time being, it is. But as I watch some more stuff, that will most likely change.
Unsure if you're going to be active for a while, but I thought I'd mention: I saw the movie When Marnie Was There, and I absolutely adore it. I think I found my new favorite movie. I've watched it three times now.
Sorry. I guess it's a conversation for another day, then. So, how is Platinum End? Still worth reading? I've been holding back on it, waiting to see whether it was still positively received.
I've only seen Wing before this, but one of the things I loved about the show was it's commentary on the infinite cycle of war - peace, dissatisfaction, revolution. But I also liked the way that it ended on a hopeful note, suggesting that true peace could be attainable with time and effort.
Sure! I love snowmen and the general aesthetic. My favorite time of year.
All I can hope for is that it gets a second season because I'm going to feel really empty after it ends. At least it got an OVA, which I'll get around to watching soon. I hear people talk about shows they wish had a second season all the time and I never had anything like that, but I'm going to mourn this show's passing until more episodes arrive.
I went to this special Christmas light show. There's a house on the side of this highway with a super elaborate light setup, and you tune into a special radio station and the music corresponds with the flashing and glow of the lights. I really enjoyed it but my brothers weren't in the mood to appreciate it due to our long car ride and how late it is/was.
This is a really difficult decision, but I think Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans just barely wins out against One Punch Man for my show of the season. It's not entirely fair though, as Gundam gets one more season than OPM does.
Honestly Iron-Blooded Orphans will probably be the best show of this season and the next for me.
I began One-Punch Man a little later than everyone else but I'm really enjoying it. Initially I quit after the first episode assuming it would be boring as the joke would become stale but it's been really consistently good and well-animated.

I've been doing good. Freshman year is going by fast.
After all, everyone born since the premiere of the movie probably knows about Luke and Vader. But the movie is still enjoyed.
I want to cry.

I think I'll get the manga sometime.
