It took me 2 bad ends and 1 "end" before I could get the true ending! I hadn't gotten so rustled since KS killed me off with a gay end! LOL

Now to wait 3 years for Kara no Shoujo 2 to be translated...

Well, thanks. A lot of what makes Gurren Lagann so great is absolutely plain to see (it's accessibility and massive fanbase has a lot to do with this), in that, plain and simple, it is extremely over-the-top giant robot fun. Of course, in countering the arguments against it, that's when things get a bit wordier. It's been said that you have to "turn your brain off" to enjoy it... which is simply not true. If you think that's what needs to be done, then you're missing the point... all you need do is simply revel in how willfully and whimsically nonsensical it is.

With that having been said it has been about 4 or 5 years since I watched Gurren Lagann so I may need to watch it again for clarity's sake.
