Watched Garden of Sinners 5 yesterday and I totally agree with your review. Another great quote of Araya: "I forgot the reason for my actions long ago". Yeah, I thought, this movie in a nutshell. At least storywise.
Hey, might be a bit random but I absolutely love your Fate/Stay Night review. It partially covers a lot of my thoughts on the show and made me chuckle along the way, so thank you!
Yup that's where Ayana is from. I'm serious in it being good though, it's legitimately one of my favorite pieces Japanese fiction. Just read this and you'll be convinced :p
Nice "Madoka Magica" review (or should i say overview ?^^) I personally though the obvious theme of the show were the different types of consequences that where included into the show (maybe a few obvious and a few self-interpreted), and i would disagree with you on the character which, in my opinion had an attitude way different from an avarage magical girl, or slice of life show which feature premature girls. If they are urobuchi sterotypes, i guess i am unable to say, since i am not much of a fan of urobuchi (i only watched Fate/Zero and PsychoPass other than Madoka, everything else i tried from him was pretty awfull)
The character I think had the right attitude for what she show needed them to be to deliever its message and i think it even made a nice psychological aspect in the case of sayakas character
( but i have to say that thats how i remembered it.. have to rewatch the show soon)
Read SubaHibi for the time of your life. It's going to be as good as the best time of your life :^)
So apparently if you write a review for a show before it has finished airing, it's going to be removed once the show does finish, and the writer can then chose to resubmit it with or without modifications, or to not resubmit it. It's supposedly to ensure that all new reviews get a fair chance of getting on the main page or something. I think it's friggin stupid because early reviews tend to get less "helpfuls" anyway. I've had my Free! Eternal Summer, Sakura Trick, and Twintails review removed for this reason. The mod who removed my Free review also had the audacity to call me out for writing a "trollish" review.
My Mars of Destruction review which I wrote in a man-to-man reviewing battle against Kapodaco was also removed for being "trollish". That's also fucking stupid because it actually had a little bit of genuine opinion in it, unlike the top review without a single speck of truth. I actually wrote the MoD review with some intention to challenge the review regulations. It was written in such a way so as to appear like an average shit-tier MAL review which should be removed for being fucking shit and uninformative(but they never do). I also made sure to include some genuine opinion in there to make it less trollish than some of the highly ranked reviews for the show. And alas, it was removed not for being shit, but for being trollish. This just shows how completely arbitrary this "regulation" for reviews is.
TLDR the review mods and rules are fucking stupid and they make me platinum mad
