Oh well, I'm able to enjoy both. I do like to have some mindless anime sometimes just to have fun and so on.

But then from time to time I need something a bit meaningful.

I do say on my profile that all evaluations are subjective. Since how is there an objective way to determine what an anime should be like?

But that being said. It's also true that most people one MAL have low stanards. I've seen people that literally rated everything they have seen with 10/10 (with like 10 exceptions).
With a rating like that I wonder, do they really think all these shows are on par?

Well despite that little rant just there.

I will see how this show plays out. I cannot see the butthurt was all about the animation itself. I mean i don't want to believe that... so I'll find out.

Like I said to the nice fellow below you, I am glad to see not everyone is a child on MAL who hates experimental things.

It's hard to understand that a community with such low standards as MAL can be so negative about a thing for once.
