Reading 8 years worth of material in a few months is definately hiding the drop in pace and the plot holes (no time to think about them). And I was talking about the original team. The later team is even worse. Sai has no point in existing, Sakura is useless in battle, Kakashi is now just a weak guy.

Your Naruto review would sound right two years ago but now the manga has lost its purpose and Kishi has no idea what he is doing anymore. Just imagine that none of the secondary characters (anyone besides the main three) has received development.

You said you haven't read that much manga. I haven't either, but I highly recommend you read Elfen Lied. It is so amazing. And I just finished one named Emerging. It's also pretty good. ^.^
