Ah, I was a bit sceptical since I tend to leave huge comments but I guess I'll recommend some more in the future if I find the will to watch anime again.

I'm a bit bummed I'm not the fist comment but eh, I like giving others a chance...

Since I'm kinda new to the whole anime deal myself and I pretty much watch whenever I don't have anything else to do, I'll suggest some pretty popular stuff.

I'd say watch the Evangelion movies, the anime was a bit hard for me to get into.

Gurren Lagann is also a pretty good anime, altough I'm a biased fanboy about it.

I've watched SAO and despite what people say I actually enjoyed it, I'd say SAO II will be more of the same but I haven't seen it yet.

Code Geass is pretty much also a staple, pretty good story wise.

I'd also suggest Chuunibyou demo koi ga shitai if you are into the slice of life/romance stuff.

I'll stop for now because this comment's getting a bit long.

Tl;dr: Hi and I recommend Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, the evangelion movies, SAO, Code Geass and Chuunibyou demo koi ga shitai.

Eureka Seven; it's on Netflix if you have Netflix. Errr, the name of it IS "Eureka Seven".

If I can recommend anything, I'd recommend Eureka Seven.
