Update: June 7th, 2024; I still check this site on occasion but not as much as years past so please comment/send me a message if you'd like to. As long as I'm not dead eventually I'll respond to it. The lists at this point are beyond outdated and I think nothing short of an archaeological expedition could save them. I don't think they will ever be updated and certainly never to be finished. I view this site, and anywhere else I rate stuff, as a way to capture my feelings at a point in time and not my truer fluctuating feelings. I'm reading comics more than watching anime so the manga list and ratings will continue to more accurately represent my current "taste" or feelings or values or mood or what have you. I made this account just shy of 9 years ago, as of writing this, and I think it might be a valuable exercise to reflect on how much things have changed. So I'd say to any of you who visit, take some time to self reflect and to find value in your having made it this far (in life or in reading this dumb page). I wrote my Ultra Heaven review 8 years ago before I'd gone to university, fresh off a high school english class, and liked to think of myself as a know-it-all, maybe I still do, but man Differential Geometry and Real Analysis will humble just about anyone! Part of me wishes I'd written more and the other part of me is glad I didn't leave a massive digital footprint of embarrassing writings. With that said, I do wish covid had sparked a desire to write more, I did try with my Red Colored Elegy review among other non-MAL efforts and yet ultimately I lost the will to do so. One day I'll be able to sit and write without overthinking and say what is inside myself but today is not that day either. To all of you who have visited this page of mine in past, present, or future I say this and please excuse my sentimentality; thank you for sharing part of your life with me and please be kind to yourself and others. Until next time.
If you come from my Ultra Heaven review (or any of them really): I'm sorry you had to read that. I liked to think I was a lot smarter than I actually was back then. Now at least I know I am dumb. So hopefully now I speak with a better sense of self reflection and maturity and don't sound so....vomit-inducingly pseudo-philosophically pedantic.
Feel free to comment/message me always happy to discuss interesting manga or anything. Although i can't promise I will get back to you immediately (I maybe check this page every month or so).

the chaps from Kamui-den Dainibu that you've read was an online version? (RAW)
The second one sounds like something I would 1000% overindulge in. I love stories like Violet Evergarden and Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou and the premise of your story feels similar to both. But of course, this is your own and that makes it special.
Now, the third one sounds...Absolutely amazing. That's a really unique plot, as well. I'm most excited to hear more about this one!
You've got me completely invested in these three stories and I really can't wait for more information! Thank you so much for sharing (:
I actually write myself, however, it's mostly poetry. So we share that in common!
Do you have hopes of publishing after all is said and done?
I would love to hear about it sometime if that's okay with you (:
I've been watching Chuunibyo and Quintessential Quintuplets and really like both! I haven't been watching any sesonals.
Good to hear from you again (:
Have you seen Kino no Tabi (2003 ver)? Read the manga Shamo? I like the perspective from both of these, they're not about drugs, though they do show a much different perspective then usual manga. Especially Shamo. Kino no Tabi has some shows similar (Mushishi, Mononoke, Aria, etc) but I can't think of anything like Shamo. It's very raw.
Ever read anything by Brandon Graham or Joann Sfar? They're two of my favorites I don't see represented in your list. Just curious.
Have a nice day.
