I hate talking about myself because I think it's better that others make up their minds about me by themselves. Never the less, I consider myself a pretty nice and simple kind of guy, although some might disagree since I spend a lot of time thinking about weird and complicated stuff lol. I really love to learn and discover new things, I also favor the ''think outside the box'' approach and I usually think differently from most people about certain things, which can cause issues sometimes. Of course, I try to respect everyone's opinion and think objectively, but I won't be shy about stating my opinion if I feel the need.

About the subject at hand, which is Anime, I honestly feel that it is the most complex and fulfilling artform I have come across. I've always read books and enjoyed good stories, but adding to that original artwork, motion, music and voice acting brings the concept to another level, creating a piece of art greater than the sum of it's parts. My first encounter with Anime was with Neon Genesis Evangelion and Record of Lodoss War, two classics in their own right that became the base on which I judge other Anime. After that, well known series like Fullmetal Alchemist, Berserk and Death Note became reference points as to what is good story telling for me. Essentially, I love deep and complex plots and psychological stories that deal with emotion and the human condition. Action is nice in it's own right, but I feel it should be a means to tell a story and is not essential. Oddly enough, when I don't feel like thinking too much, I also enjoy light comedies like Slayers or Love Hina and I am usually not that critical about that kind of Anime, since I feel that if it made me laugh, it did it's job well. To sum it up, I love Anime and I know I have still a lot to see and learn. My greatest joy is to share what I love with others, so feel free to comment or make suggestions.
