I've been here for years, seen this site grow, haven't actively participated in much of the site's community since some of y'all are crazy for your anime. I was once like you; marathoner of anime's, proud of my thoughts on them, sharing them, defending them kinda sorta grew from reclusive to outspoken on here you'll be surprised just how many people actually watch anime in North America, anime use to be so niche here and now it's quite main stream. ANYWAY I started in 2005 watching School Rumble, and when I say started I mean it like I actively went out of my way to watch it online not TV (had DBZ, sailorM, and pokemans) and total fave is Clannad which torn me a new tear duct like that scene in Toy Story 3 where they held hands facing the fire....

More serious tone: I like anime that generally end well, I enjoy tragedies but if I feel like the moral is "nothing ventured nothing gained" or "welp that happened" then I'm not really gonna feel attached at the end because if 'YOLO' can be in your summary then it was stupid to start with. Comedies are also something I enjoy but I don't go looking for them, I don't like moe, god no if you got to use adorable characters as your hook then your story is most likely in the sh!t (k-on) and your better off just drawing don't throw a story in for sh!ts and giggles. I tend to like romances (totally finished with Harems) mostly because when embarrassing things go down I sympathise and feel it too which explains the stupid story part as well if it's stupid then I feel like I'm being treated like I'm stupid.
