The only way to summarize this anime is a waste of time - as a viewer you will garner absolutely nothing from this awful series.

I was drawn to watch this because of the beautiful art - the artists have really done an incredible job and it is a shame that their efforts have been put into a terrible script.

As for the story - almost immediately you are disoriented wondering 'what is going on', as characters are very poorly introduced. This confusion is not resolved, only worsened as the story progresses. We are led to believe there is a war and two nations who have a ...

Okay. I am a HUGE fan of the original series. The original series is God-tier for me and will always be one of my most recommended series. If you are in the same boat, you will have grand expectations and this series will either meet these and bask in the same holy light as your favourite series, or it will be judged with the sharpest scrutiny and perhaps earn undeserved hatred - depending entirely on what you liked/ disliked about the original series.

I would say "spoiler alert" but because there is no actual direction, climax or conclusion you could read all of this and the viewing experience would be no different.

This is an alternate ending to Kimi ga Nozomu Eien or Rumbling Hearts, and it may as well be another reality.

The characters are inconsistent to their personalities in the original series. Seeing Takayuki in a blissful state of complete happiness with Haruka was perplexing to watch, because:
a.) When has Takayuki ever been happy? Who is this character? What?
b.) Stop being so happy
c.) It is as if Mitsuki never happened (...I'm sure HarukaxTakayuki fans will dig it)
