Ok, here's some recs

2000s

- Planets, i'm watching this one now, it's by the same director as Code Geass (which you really liked), but with comedy, it's absolutely hilarious while still being able to tell a sweet and heartwarming story
- Dead Leaves, this one only watch it if you like rauchy, very raunchy, comedy, it has interesting animation, but not much in the story department, just 50 minutes of dumb fun
- Redline, this has a similar sense of humor to Dead Leave, but with a great story and god tier animation, it's on the newer side being from the late 2000s


1990s

- Hunter x Hunter (1999), you already liked HxH 2011, so why not give the 1999 version a try? It has a darker tone to it and takes more time to flesh out the characters
- Yuu Yuu Hakusho, by the same creator as Hunter x Hunter
- Digimon, i might be a little biased towards this one, but it truely is great, the story, the world, the characters, it's a staple of my childhood and i'd recommend it to anyone


1980s

- Cat's Eye, action, humor, romance, this has it all
- Ranma 1/2, classic 80s comedy anime

1970s

- Versailles no Bara, since you seem to have an interest in animation, this one shows the typical late 70s/early80s shoujo style, it's a bit on the slower side, but the story's real good

DO NOT THINK SO MUCH haha just go for the latest installment of 24 eps and watch it, its plenty amazing and its very gore-y so if you like that, you'll like it and it ended so no need to worry about "when s2 coming ? " hahaha

oh that time i was a newbie to anime and i didnt know what is what i just found it on YT aos i thought lets watch it :) and one of the best life decisions after watching i found out it had a iterations back like long back ago but no i didnt watch it !!!

Gonzo is one of your favorite studios? I really miss the old one that made original works seem so brand new at the time. After all these years, Gatekeepers' animation aged so well.
