Hi! I’m Emma from Otaku Organisation.
You have been invited to join our amazing club. Now you're probably asking why should I join?
Otaku Organisation provides a friendly community that everyone can have a great time in, you can discuss anime, play club games and much more!
If wish to join us please click on this link or the picture above. http://myanimelist.net/clubs.php?cid=69406
Please look around and enjoy, we would love to have you on board!
I dislike using scores, and at one point I was tempted to remove all of my scores and just leave everything blank. As for reviews and critiques, I wouldn't add a score to it if it wasn't required by MAL.
Adding a score to a review you've written means that more people will simply look at the number and ignore everything else, and it's impossible to assign a numerical value to something as ephemeral as enjoyment. Production quality, script, and even acting ability can be quantified to a degree, but even then it's better to write a critique rather than giving a score.
To be honest, I think the anime community would be less divisive if we got rid of scoring systems completely and just talked to each other about what we like and dislike.
SAO isn't a good show no matter how you try to spin it. As for Evangelion, its an incomplete story with too much focus on effects rather than causes.
Being overly zealous towards a particular title is your right, and if you wish to debate the good and bad about Evangelion then please do so. If all you're going to do is pick faults with my scores then isn't that a waste of my time and yours?
