Oh chevalier damn. Hopefully you'd like it, since I only fully appreciated it after watching it twice. At least budget-sama was very nice to it.
Yeah take your time before watching Hidamari no Ki. Also budget-sama is actually nicer to it in terms of animation than to Hyouge Mono but the artwork isn't as good.

Oh and if you're still interested in hipster points, watch Hidamari no Ki.. This has been watched by nobody because it hasn't been subbed until 2 months ago and was never licensed either. And also just watch it cause it's great I guess.. yeah that's a reason people watch stuff too I think. It's written by Osamu Tezuka-sama himself and directed by someone who's been around since Moses was walking the earth.. so yeah, step aside Hyouge Mono and make room for the new (older) hipster samurai show.
