Oh, to be honest, not many of them are actually connected. They have multiple universes that share only "Gundam" in it's name and mechs.
For example I started with "original" Gundam, the one that came from '79. It is a part of Universal Century - the main story line of gundam (and first as well)
I say it is totally worth it, one of the gundams is in my favourites + some titles explore the horrors or war perfectly.
Especially I recommend you check out this - MSG Thunderbolt: December sky. Great action, voice acting and music. It shows how shitty it is to be a low-rank soldier.

Yup, I guess at this point we can only hope that Japan will get tired of that shit soon. How many shit LNs they gonna adapt anyway. Don't they have actual good stories? Even Madhouse recently fell into this shithole. So desperate for quick cash grab.

I remember times when I had absolutely no desire to see any mecha, I was not sure what is so cool about huge robots fighting each other.
Turned out it's not just that :^) Now I am on a mission of completing all Gundams. Sadly they have some shit titles, but I think we all need some suffering in order to appreciate good stuff even more.

I really never cared a shit for this show, it seemed like your typical light novel adaptation, and when the people started saying that it was great I always thought "it`s gonna go downhill afther a couple of episodes" and it seems that i was right(sadly), but aniway, its funny to see people being critical and shitting on it (like you).
If you want a good fantasy anime then watch berserk(97), maybe isnt "fantasy" in the strict way, but its far better than the 98% of medieval europe settled animes.

In am on a sport/mecha spree right now, sadly those don't have much of gore. At least not the ones I am watching right now.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I loooveeee gore, especially in gritty GAR anime. It just insta turn on for me, since usually they do that shit right.
But when those really mainstream, aimed for teenagers anime try to pull this out - it looks so bad.. You just stop taking such titles seriously.

Just wanted to let you know I loved your Re: Zero review. The five minutes of entertainment I got from it was several times better than the actual show, especially your description of Stupidbaru and his Rainman levels of Autism. Anytime he opened his mouth and spewed retarded garbage it completely took me out of the tiny absorption I did have in the show, and made me want to throw my computer out the window. What makes me even madder than the show are the insane levels of adoration and fanboyism over it, which for the life of me I can't understand. Like, Sword Art deserves 10x more praise than this trash, and I hate that show too. But your review restored some of my sanity, while giving me some laughs. Thank you for telling it like it is, and giving this shit anime a dose of reality

Lol who compares it to Steins Gate and why? It's not even comparable to a glittering piece of shit like SAO.... Lost hope in humanity :P
