We don't know if there are plot holes because literally one episode is out..... you've completed 4% of the anime and are already rating and reviewing it? Lol.
Personally, it makes no sense to complain about plot holes in an anime when there's only one episode out. Do you want to the anime to tell us everything in the first episode? Then where's the mystery to it? How do you know they're not gonna elaborate on these points later on. Sure, they may not end up doing so, but it doesn't justify a review being made after an episode -_-
If you're up for a little thinking or intelligent conversation, I wanted to point out a few flaws/disagreements about your Re:Zero episode 1 review:
-The inconsistency you pointed out doesn't make sense. He doesn't realize that he's been sent back in time upon death because that's such a strange thing, and death is already disorienting enough. It's not strange that he doesn't notice it, and because he doesn't notice it, he doesn't think that the information he's obtained from events that haven't happened are actually from events that haven't happened. Since he has no idea that death sent him back in time, the information he's obtained is from events that he believes have already happened, so it can't possibly be an inconsistency that he doesn't figure out that he has information obtained in the future.
-I am very much curious as to how his actions appear strange. He thought all of the events that haven't happened have already happened, therefore his priority is to investigate the location that he thinks will most likely lead to him receiving the insignia (sigil? can't remember what they called it in the subs) so that he can return it, as that was what he was working towards before he died the first time.
-I am also curious as to how it was confusing. Sure, many questions haven't been answered, but it seems a bit silly, for lack of a better word, to expect those questions to be answered and explained in the first episode of a 25 episode anime. If anything, the first episode is for posing questions that carry through the rest of the series and are answered at later points in time.
Anyways, I'm not bashing you or anything, just wanted to point out some things and/or discuss a difference in opinion.
Thank you everyone! I know I might be previewing re;zero too early - but I am critical of the facts I see within each anime episode and simply pointed out what I observed to be inconsistencies. I do not like the gaps, and as a viewer in the older age group, that still enjoys animations, I wanted to write one targeted towards this older, more experienced and skeptical audience.
An initial preview, I believe, is the most important because at episode 1, it sets the tone, mood, and details for the foundation of the series. It is similar to the first impression you get when you meet someone.
I will continue to watch and update this preview, thank you all for reading and writing back on my wall. I appreciate just the useful feedback.
It's not about the hate, it's about the fact that previews this early are actually not allowed ;-; I learned this the hard way
Your preview might be taken down, it'll be great if you upload it later on :D
Welcome to MAL!
You should have wrote your first impression in the episode one discussion related thread in the forums, you know, that might stop people from getting angry at you... anyway, welcome to MyAnimeList !
Just because a character doesn't act the way you want them to doesn't make it a plot hole.
Also if you're going to write a review after one episode, actually make it sound like a review.

I think the guidelines state that the show must be at least 1/4 of 1/3 of the way through before previews are allowed

Get the fuck out attention-whore. That was just plain retarded as well as those other users who also submitted a review.
