Sounds like a scene from a horror movie xD an empty street with only one light flickering above you and so.. For me once it was quite the opposite - my friend and i went for a day trip to other town by train. We heard that the next stop was ours but were too slow to get out. We both freaked out quite a bit since we only paid for a ride till there. Turned out we almost got out one stop too early.. Got saved by being too slow..
Mhhhhhhmmmm.. I'll just find a trailer before judging :)
..and i could still ramble about final match for next few months if anyone was interested..
How old were you when you learned how to swim? Everyone has different comfort zones :) my sis doesn't like the idea of swimming either...
Well.. I'm not a hopeless case at least :) though my trainer went on holiday so i might forget everything i learned so far...
It's freaking hot out here. Have been spending my days watching movies, playing games and just lying around.. How about you?
Thant doesn't sound very fun... Hang in there, girl!
Have you ever missed your stop like this? :D
What is it about? That's why i tried to postpone watching it for as long as possible (only seen special so far) to make it last longer xD mushishi is a perfection. (Lol, because.. Physics xD)
Then i'm glad for you :) hope you'll enjoy it as much as you would with psychology. Really, i can imagine you in this area quite well.
Yup, the only one in the family doing so, though xD only my dad sometimes joins to watch a match or two... It usually starts at 9 or 10 pm (some matches start at 1am some at 7pm) so no wonder... I look worse than during the end of semester xD most of the teams i was cheering for already dropped out >.> do you support any team or do you just watch it to keep others company?
I'm gonna start visiting pool this week. Finally mustered up some courage to learn swimming. Wish me luck! Cause i'm scared as hell >.<
At least you got something to do while taking the ride xD that's a good reason for me.
My friend got bak to it. Now all i hear is "Natsu this Natsu that" xDD apparently everyone got badass again. And Lucy while still has the same personality can finally stand up on her own during the fight.
OITNB?
Yeaaaa, almost the same here.. Haven't watched or read anything anime/manga related since i got on a break (except for two anime episodes spend laughing from the cliches... And it was supposed to be DRAMMAtic)
What's the new program?
I'm a complete zombie. World cup doesn't do much good for the sleep department in this time line..
I'm back! Almost dead, but back :D
How have you been?
How i wish i had PS ;__; the concept art of game looks rather interesting
As far as I know OP was the only one that in the long run got better not worse, no?
Tell me about it. Small details are what makes the story run. Thinking bout getting back to reading Fairy tail. But all the boob shots made to please male audience is just as annoying.
Thanks, i remember reading synopsis of this one some time ago, might try it as well. What are you into lately?
Hmm... I guess i can relate. Whenever everything else seems hopeless i turn to all the whodunit goodies xD
Maybe because it requires less concentration? Most of the time you have to follow complex plot closely not to miss anything. And stupid shows are just for entertainment purposes..
Wow, this type of conclusions is a real mood-killer. Well true, not everything needs to be grand and complex, but if you decide to build suspense, please, carry the task till the end. What game was that?
Yeah, that's pretty much the reason i dropped it too. Which character was that?
As for bleach.. Well main character became an overpowered mix of ALL races created in the story: human, shinigami, quichy, hollow, whatever else that was ever mentioned. His father is not his father, his sword is not his, one is a random bloke, the other is a villain or something. More and more characters kept popping out, old ones forgotten or ridiculed, made into parodies of themselves.. well, you get the vibe -__-
And i used to love it so much... Pity
Aren't they following the manga closely?
Mhm... Let's see, lately i've been searching for some good mystery. Another with less random gore? I liked the mood in the beginning of the series... Anything pops out?
Weird? Like?
Haven't slept last week at all. Have been working 24/7. Now it's quite ok :)
Ok.. Then here's the question: how do you decide to watch a new anime? I doubt only synopsis is enough for you to give it a chance :)
sigh.. Somehow i never managed to get into PH manga... No matter how i tried to, the chapters just seemed somewhat dragged. Even if anime wasn't changed that much it was way easier to watch than read what was going on.
So many good series ruined in order to appeal for the audience with all this fan service >.> No plot, no character development, only fights, tears and dramma - just as you said. Or did we really grow up to be that picky? :D (Really, i still can't forgive them for ruining bleach after ep 70)
Well, you are quite lucky to know what you want :) lately i'm not even sure of what i'd like to read/watch. All the unnecessary drama everywhere i turn xD
Cheh, it's weekend finally and i'm drained too (12pm and i still can't find energy to get out of bed properly - keep returning to it xD). Well, look at the "bright" side - we've been studying for far longer than four years, this much is still possible to handle, right? ;)
Josei like? :) Recently i got into seinen (with appeal for women). Somehow the plot always seem more... rich? I can actually relate to some characters and there's no shoujo drammmmmma of whether the main clumsy crybaby chara is loved or not. Your old flame, huh? Did it get worse or is it just your personal interest that changed?
Which character is it? :) I always wanted to read SnK. But somehow all the hype put me off :/
I can bet it's difficult.. How many years do you have to study for the degree? As for architecture.. Yeah, it's interesting, can't complain. Yet it's incredibly - both mentally and physically - draining. During the semester we rarely get to sleep properly and afterwards it gets to all of us. All you want is just for everything to end asap.
Yeah, and somehow it's getting harder to find series worth wasting time on too.. Don't you think? 13-15 years old protagonists just don't click anymore..
Why? Is it boring or just difficult?
Hang in there, girl! Yup, hopefully the second year won't kill me either xD as there's a half of it left..
I'm studying architecture :)
Is OK i'm quite of a ghost-thing here too most of the time... Come and go once or twice a month... Just glad to hear from you again ;) Computer Science, was it? How do you like it?
Second year, you? :) seriously, it was probably the hardest year of my life ¬_¬
Yep. Kuuchuu Buranko also had one heck of an awesome opening song, got me addicted for months. And PSG is just insanely fun to watch. Stocking is more my type. =P
I'll keep the axe on the side, just in case. :P
-I've had my eyes on Air for a while, especially after I knew he's the same guy behind Angel Beats! too.
-Yep, I don't mind slice-of-life anime. Will check out Aoi Hana, too.
-I don't mind ecchi as long as they deliver it well and in context, not just showing off random ecchi scenes for ratings or something.
-Binbougami ga! looks really interesting!
-I didn't watch Clannad the movie because it just retells the story (according to the description), but I think it's a good choice since I miss the feelings it gave me as I watched it.
-A gender bender?! Hmm.. well it's well recepted so I'll give it a chance.
-Lovely Complex is pretty damn famous. I'll check it out sometime.
-Even Kuroko no Basket is pretty famous. Same as above.
-I heard a lot of praises for NANA, I'll definitely watch it.
-Kinda skeptical about the premise of basara, but I know how crazy it gets (saw gifs of some fights)
-Paradise Kiss looks really weird.. art style mainly. Will check out a couple episodes and see what happens.
-I don't know why I didn't see Summer Wars yet..
-I think I saw the OP of tsuritama a while ago.. interesting premise, will see how it turns out.
Thanks for all the recommendations! Gee, that's a hefty list o_o Guess it's my turn to give some recommendations:
-Dantalian No Shoka: if you like episodic stories, this is the best IMO. Brilliant stories with fantasy elements.
-ef A tale of melodies (and the sequel, ef a tale of memories): a mix of romance and drama that was beautiful. Not a must but it's quite good.
-Kaiba: The concept behind it and the stories told.. gives me goosebumps. Made me question the value of memories, and made me cry.
-Kokoro connect: slice of life with a really nice twist. It's one neat social experiment.
-Steins;Gate Oukoubakko no Poriomania: WHY HAVEN'T YOU SEEN THIS AFTER THE SHOW!
-Usagi drop: Basically the show that makes me wanna become a parent. ;_;
-Gunbuster: Mecha, but from the same creators of TTGL, Gainax.
-Diebuster: a sequel to the above, the closest thing I've seen to TTGL. (excluding REDLINE)
-Detroit Metal City: Great comedy, and really short episodes, no knowledge of metal is necessary to enjoy this awesomeness.
-Yondemasu yo! Azazel-San: another ridiculously funny show, pretty crazy stuff.
I'm kinda reluctant on these choices, as I'm not sure what do you look for in anime, but I went ahead with my favorites, so I hope you like them too. =)
