My rating scale:

10 - A masterpiece. There's nothing I can find wrong about an anime that reaches this diamond standard. A true must-watch!

9 - Great. Minus some flaws here or there, this is an anime that really did something amazing.

8 - Very Good. This is an anime that thoroughly impressed & entertained me while watching. I definitely felt a strong connection & can easily recommend it to anyone.

7 - Good. Any anime that reaches this has done a lot to impress, but falls short in the places that mean the most. It may not have impacted me significantly, but it surely was a good watch!

6 - Fair. A show that gets this rating would be "alright." It's just enough to keep me coming back, but nothing that blows my socks off.

5 - Average. Anime that get this score did nothing to impress me, but also did nothing to make me hate it. It has to be a very lack-luster anime to receive this rating.

4 - Poor. It's done nothing good, but there was still a glimmer of hope while watching. Maybe it had one good character, or even just one good episode.

3 - Bad. Not many anime make it down this far, but the ones that do are truly bad. I don't see any real reason why one would finish an anime this bad. But it can get worse.

2 - Horrible. I haven't found too many anime that have been this low. But I assume at this point I'd continue watching only because of how laughably bad it was.

1 - Atrocious. This would be considered hell. A true disaster, fit for absolutely nobody. There is zero to enjoy for an anime that comes this far from grace.

Not only because it's based on SoL it's more than that

They had their own flaws.. to make the show even better

BTW if you want a very good Long running anime(It's ending this year also), I just got caught up and it became my 2nd favorite anime ever https://myanimelist.net/anime/918/Gintama?q=gint

It's a Comedy series with Serious/Action arcs every 30 episodes, but the Plot builds up slowly through through the comedy episodes until all of a sudden it goes Full Circle and all the Plots connect together without you realizing it, The first 20-30 episodes are just character introductions so it's not Funny compared to later on, It will make you laugh your ass off(especially after episode 40), make you Cry(like the Okita Sister arc, and Shougun Assasination arc), and it has some of the most Badass fight scenes I have seen in anime https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijx7Oy1l_0c

Well just a quick run down as to why for me
Bad passing with the first 4 episodes being super fast and then everything after that feeling slow and dragged out
Boring main character who just wants revenge and screamed like half the time in my experience
Forced tension on the veiwer, every time there would a tense moment they'd over dramatize it making the characters sceam unnecessarily with loud background music if I remember correctly so to force emotions on the veiwer like how a jump scare is used to force a reaction in the veiwer during a horror movie
