The thing with Bokura Ga Ita was that I really identified with certain parts of the situation as they had happened to me only a few months before, so that kind of gives Bokura Ga Ita an unfair advantage. I think I like Bokura Ga Ita's character designs better by a bit, as well. Sawako in normal clothes is making me rethink that, though. Maybe I just dislike Sawako's hideous uniform.

I'm really enjoying it. I love this style of romantic comedy. I don't think it's quite equaled Bokura ga Ita in terms of best in this style, but it's very good nonetheless. A solid 9 so far.

The only thing I can really complain about is the realness of some scenes. While Bokura ga Ita never let you down in terms of suspension of disbelief, there are a few scenes in Kimi ni Todoke where I find myself thinking, "There's no one who'd do/say that." That's far from the norm though. Generally, it's pretty easy to imagine this happening at the high school down the road.

it does seem like there aren't that many people that know the wonder of Honey and Clover. It still has some of my favorite lines and scenes... *processing capacity exceeded* was just epic. and whoa, Tolstoy eh? I don't think I've read anything of his... :/

I see you're watching DtB... what do you think of it? (maybe tell me after you've seen a couple more episodes though).

hi~I just saw your recommendation (kimi no todoke-->honey and clover) and decided to drop by. Honey and Clover is amazing.... I couldn't stop watching it (finished s1 and s2 in 2 and 1/2 days my first watch through >_>). I'm lazy (and sleepy) so I haven't read all 10 anime blurbs, but you claim to be a literature junkie and I'm interested in what you like in that realm... so yea. hi.
