Using this site to remember every show I've wasted a part of my life on.
In my opinion, the enjoyment should be the main criteria for grading shows, because isn't that what it's all about? A show being clever/revolutionary/original shouldn't come at the expense of my enjoyment.
at this point I don't want to waste my time with shows that are most certainly very good but that I just don't enjoy. it means I'm dropping every show that I personally don't think are worth my time. if my tastes are shitty, so be it, I really don't care about external gratification as long as I'm enjoying myself.
everybody's looking for something different when watching anime. for me, personally, I'm watching it for the characters. I couldn't care less about the plot, if the characters aren't there to back it up, I'm not interested.
