I'm sorryyyy I think it needs a rewatch though. The very erratic structure of the episodes came across as kind of obnoxious initially and I didn't really find it to be that funny. I did actually like the last two episodes quite a bit, but I found the experience as a whole a bit tiresome even with how short it was. Maybe watching it all in one day wasn't the best idea on my end
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little... confused by the ending? It was fantastic, no doubt about that, I didn't need to understand it fully to grasp that, but yeah I don't know it was kind of surprising. It was a really interesting way to close out the series though, and it's without a doubt one of my favorite anime of all time.
I mean, Nagisa's dad always chasing after her mom after basically saying her bread sucks usually gets a smile out of me, and Sunohara has his moments, but yeah I mostly agree. I definitely prefer slow Clananad to comedic Clannad. Where's Fuko though? :(
Exactly, I also think the slow drift away from less and less comedic moments is tonally fitting considering the point in the story now. I can understand it being boring to some, but I like the cozy feel of the later episodes especially.
I felt the same way admittedly, but it had the same feel of S1 so I was still having a good time watching it. Ep 9? No love for Ep 6? come onnnn it made me tear up it was so beautifullll
nah I havent yet! was surprised to see two works set in feudal japan come out from science saru in such a close time span. I should get onto it, I'm always down for anything yuasa and I've heard it's a musical which sounds sick!
please enjoy heike! it's quiet but absolutely devastating.
space dandy is genuinely one of if not the most underappreciated show from the last 10 years. so much humour, talent and wit in every episode.
omg thank you! glad you enjoyed the video! and holy shit, just finished rewatching space dandy after not seeing it in 5 years and I fell in love with it all over again!
Honestly I enjoyed the hijinks that involved getting to London just as much, but I get what you're saying for sure.
I do!! In terms of my favorite anime series I'd have to go with Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, mostly because it's possibly my favorite show ever, and a close second would be... well, K-On! My favorite anime film would be either A Silent Voice or Spirited Away bc I'm normie as shit
Yeah, love the show itself I just thought that the movie had a somewhat messy structure and weird pacing. Still had a good time, maybe I'd enjoy it more on a re-watch who knows.
