Nisekoi was the manga that brough me to this "anime/manga universe again". It was my favorite manga for a while, it was really the first time that I started to see japanose animation as being cute and different from cartoons, I started to see the potential on japonese anime industry as of being something different and unique!
But the manga disappointed me big! It is all good up to chapter 40-50, from there on, most chapters are fillers!
Almost no story progress at all, and the suposed reason to this is so childish like and just plain stupid! It is like the characters have some important thing to do, to advance the plot, but just blanky ignore it or go easy on it.
I still read Nisekoi manga, it really has some great comedic moments and some story progression that from time to time I really enjoy, but everything could had been much sweeter and smooth IF they werent draging this so much!
I wrote this so you could understand my background with Nisekoi.
I like the anime, because all you are watching and will watch is animated to episode 15-17, those were the parts that the manga was always good and interesting (so we are talking about more or less the first 40-50 chapters adapted).
The last 3-4 episodes of the anime follow the story up to more or less the 80's chapter of the manga, and so here you can how much fillers they had removed, to make the anime great!!
So while I can enjoy the anime, I cant enjoy it as much as I had enjoyed before on the first 40 manga chapters, because before I had hope this would turn up a great interesting story in the long run... BUT cuz I have been reading the manga, "I know the future of the characters" and it isnt a time as enjoyable, as you will have with the anime.
By all means the anime is great, but dont expect much after you see the anime, you may try to read the manga....and you will find some sweet moments, but also much more disapointment towards all that filler after filler after filler that the anime was "lacking".
