Well, I'll consider your advice, sir. My life never really was that great, that obviously applies to most people. But in my case....especially my childhood. Which was...well, lets just say it wasn't a ''good'' childhood. When my cat died, it felt like the world turn upside down. Every bad thing happen one after the other. If i had replied on the same day you first replied to me. My response would be more or less the same, just more upbeat and not gloomy. After all, on Nov 20, i was mocked and laugh at school, due to my mutism. And they wonder why i don't like school.
In the end, that's just life. It ain't life without some crap thrown at you. But hey, you did at least about understand about my situation, so i appreciate that.
Honestly I was surprised you even brought up Dies Irae. I'm assuming it's because my profile, right? Well there is a good reason why Shirou is the GOAT, lol. Good thing your also you're going to read the Tsukihime remake! The remake was what got me into of Visual Novels and i wanted other people (including my brother) to read it, unfortunately most people don't read VNs so i point at the Tsukihime manga as a alternative. But i'm glad that someone else is reading Dies Irae as well (i finished the first two routes btw). While you're at it, i suggest you check out Mahoyo (a prequel to Tsukihime) after you're done playing the remake.
Hm, your birthday was last week, yet nobody here didn't celebrate your birthday. If i had know about it, i would've had celebrate your birthday. But i hope you have a good Christmas! Plus you seem like a interesting guy to talk to, so wanna accept my request? friend :)
Sure, I'll check them out, expect me to watch/read those series in probably say......2030 or later.
Hahaha, I'm just kidding, but to be honest, I probably wouldn't watch/read those series for a while. Since i got so many shits on my plate that watching Hunter x Hunter would only stress me out further, thanks to a bunch of things like trying to finish all the anime/manga/visual novels I’m watching, life being a fucking pain in the ass, high school being literal torture etc.
My life has been such a hot mess this year and I thought I was starting to feel better in September, until some bullshit happened to me at school yesterday. *Sigh😔, that and also watching all 140 eps is too much of a chore for me to sit through (I’m a pretty lazy person btw).
I suppose you’re likely just asking me to put those series in my plan to watch/read list, in that case you wouldn't need to worry since I had my sights on Hunter x Hunter for a while now. I heard good things about it here and there, so I’m curious what the fuss is about.
Holyland is something I never heard of, nor would I have learned of its existence, if you hadn't replied to me. I’m not really much of a manga guy compared to my brother (he has a MAL profile btw), the cover didn’t look that interesting, altho, the premise was a little more interesting but that's about it. However, since you recommended it to me, I added it to my list, because I watch pretty much anything, so I don't mind that much.
Beside Holyland could secretly be peak, that I’m missing out. In fact, that’s likely why you replied in the first place, you simply just wanted other people to watch your favorite series. I can relate to that; I attempted to recommend people of show’s i liked over the years. Some are more successful than others.
So, I appreciate you recommending series that I may check out one day, even if my life is shitty at the moment. As a reward, I wholeheartedly 100% recommending you watch Kara no Kyoukai or Garden of Sinners in english and read Tsukihime (manga to be specific)
Thank you for reading, have a good day and good night, depending where you're from.
utterly tasteless guy who rides nostalgia. Not everyone likes sports manga or even boxing manga in general, there's a reason why ippo is scored an 8 and not a 10. its because not everyone thinks like you do, its funny you call me a toddler because I'm almost certain most WSJ manga is intended for children. maybe your the weird one here maybe stop watching kids content and find something less bitter to do than comment on a myanimelsit page like a social recluse.
also if it wasn't already clear, for someone with only 40 days I think your talking a lot of shit.. maybe if you feel like critiquing anime start by watching some more
I couldn’t quite get into holyland, unfortunately. I like the author’s other works Sousei no Taiga and Destroy and Revolution, however (I must add them to my list if I have not already). I liked the premise and the art, and indeed even liked the main character (I tend to like typically weaker, perhaps more human protagonists), but it did not stick and cannot read beyond 30 or so chapters. Perhaps I will revisit some day and enjoy it better - I would like to complete it in the future, at least.
I like quite a few of the manga and anime you have favorited! Kokou no Hito has beautiful art and explores a very unique theme. Onanie Master Kurosawa is a funny, surprisingly emotional story of redemption. Solo Leveling has great art and very interesting enemies - it has an overall exciting, feel-good vibe. Chainsaw Man has proved itself with raving reviews both on the anime and manga, and for good reason - I particularly like Denji, as he is practically immortal, the idea of which has always captivated me. I read about 600 chapters of Hajime Ippo in a few days and enjoyed it! It had a lighter theme than Ashita no Joe, and the fights were very exciting! I especially enjoyed the fight in which Takamura beat his opponent with one hand. Blue Lock is the only football media I can tolerate, haha.
Your anime choice is very good too. Steins;Gate is one of my favorites, of course - I would highly recommend the visual novel if you seek more content and have not played it already. I did not watch the anime, but did read the manga of Kuroko no Basket and loved it! So exciting; it seems sports manga that read like fighting manga tickle my fancy quite a bit. Mob Psycho Season 2 is one of my favorite seasons of all time. I love the whole show, but season 2 is my favorite by a long shot. Especially episodes 6 and 7. I have rewatched those 2 many times, and have cried every single time on episode 7. Attack on Titan is, of course, brilliant.
I see that you have put Kyou kara Ore wa on your read list; I can vouch for this manga, having read and re-read it a few times. Mitsuhashi is hilarious!
Given our shared interests, I have sent you a friend request.
Yeah I mean I grew up on soap operas, I'm literally named Jesse after blud from All My Children, all jokes aside Rent-a-girl is the right balance of romanticism and drama, and i was always engaged in what was going on. It's like an addiction LOL.

not sure what you mean by holyland
Not that big of a manga reader if you couldn't tell
